Thanks Mark. I have a few minutes now to check it out! Appreciate it!
OK, Just noticed the reply quote... Learning the forum set up.
Anyway, thanks to all for the warm welcome!
Thanks. Really looking forward to new adventures!
Thanks so much! Loving the forum, great people contributing here.
After bringing my beloved D70 out of retirement I need to get it cleaned. Does anyone know a good place to send cameras for removing dust on the sensor (or whatever the dust is on).
Thanks in advance!
Sheila
Another newby here! I have been visiting for a while and really enjoying the personalities and certainly the pictures. It never ceases to amaze me the number of people willing to share knowledge of their craft. I thank you all for that.
I wanted to check in before the new year (central time) and greet everyone. I hope to be more active in the very near future. I bought a Nikon D70 years ago to take pictures of my horses. I was so busy with them, that I never really learned all the features of the Nikon and pretty much stayed in Auto. I did get many good pictures of them though. Life happens, more horses, less time and the Nikon was put away. Now I am selling horses, so hard for me to do. Taking care of my Mom who has dementia and recently diagnosed with lung cancer. I figure while all this is going on, I will have some quiet time to study a new camera... Woo hoo. We recently purchased a place on Petit Jean Mtn, 5 min from the State Park, lots of opportunities there for landscape shots. Still have a few horses to take pictures of too.
Minutes till the new day. Looking forward to a great new year! Hope you all have a great New Year holiday, get some great shots!!
Sheila
Thinking maybe a D500. But still looking at options.
yes, I am interested in the package. Could you email me? sheilagordon55@gmail.com I have an older Nikon D70 and have a few questions about your camera package.
Thanks so much!
Your Smugmug pages are awesome! I have always loved North Carolina and the beauty that lies in all those mountains and the coast line. I am thrilled that I was able to see it through your eyes. Amazing shots and color. I have been to Linville Falls, loved the shot from your viewpoint.
Glad I am not the only one that struggles with Windows. It updated a few days ago and now I cannot access VRBO with Chrome. Finally deleted Chrome and now using FireFox. Then it took me another day to figure out why links in my email would not open
They were all trying to open in Chrome... Geeze.... Apple looks better each day...
Thanks for sharing the great pic of the Dane. Reminds me of mine that I lost a couple years ago to cancer. They are such sweet and loving dogs!
love the detail in his feathers! I have blk/white horses and I always seem to lose the detail in one color or the other.... sigh....
Such beautiful shots.
