You might consider the context of the entire book of photographs to find a unique 'hook' that might tie these with the other images you find worthy. Is it the continuity or contrast of people, places, poses, activities, costumes, customs, color, composition, etc.?

It’s a difficult concept to portray. Did you try to make a few different designs for the concept, reorganizing the same basic elements? I’d like to see what you could sketch out prior to executing the shoot. You might be able to use Photoshop to recompose the existing elements and emphasize the movement. Sometimes you have to exaggerate the concept and simplify the other elements

A good subject well-lit but, a tall building needs to be tall, frame it as a portrait rather than a landscape, ironically. The dark trees dominate and nearly swallow it. So, abandon the location, find a better position and make it vertical to accent the tallness, rather than horizontal. Have another go at it and really explore the building, it probably has some very cool details when you get to know it up close...

This would be great, my portrait work is always a series of on-the-spot compromises doing fast-paced photojournalism, but the priority of the choices I make need to be informed by the best practices.

I shoot a number of charity golf tournaments, mostly on a volunteer basis, and previously went to a nearby CVS, Walgreens, etc. to print my pics but their equipment was sometime unreliable or they had other orders and couldn’t do a quick turnaround. I purchased an Epson PM-400 and it does a fantastic job. It’s a little slow but I can do everything on site at the tournament with everything within my control. It takes me about 1 1/2 - 2 hours to shoot all the foursomes, chasing them as I go. I usually have all the pictures printed, inserted in display folders, and ready for the golfers to pick up about 30 minutes to an hour before they come in off the course. I purchase my 4x6 paper through Costco, instead of the Epson paper, as it’s a lot less expensive. The Costco paper comes in a 300 sheet pack and Has excellent results for this purpose. I buy the all in one ink cartridges through B&H and they run about $35 and can do about 100 prints. I also buy double view 6x4 black cardboard photo frames through Smart Products (www.pfile.com) with the black foil boarder. I use the left side to insert a preprinted photo created in PS with the tournament info with a picture of the course in the background. I print these ahead of time at Costco to keep the cost down. Lastly, now that I use the PM-400exclusively, I bought a second one as a back up, just in case I have a problem with my first one. (Did I mention I’m in the insurance business!)

I see that one on sale at the Epson site, and this one for same price, Expression Photo XP-8500 Small-in-One All-in-One Printer,

with 8x10 capabilities and 10 second 4x6's

I like this answer, low investment, high level of product to sell, with more choices. Bigger prints = bigger returns. I also have a voltage DC-AC inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter on my older car, that can run a bigger strobe with a soft box to overpower the sunlight outdoors. Very good results.

Our 2017 Ford Fusion has a 120 outlet we could plug a printer into. If your car also has this handy feature, get a bluetooth or wifi printer, hook it up in the car, and print 8x10s straight from your camera while you shoot and send!

Your answer depends, are you photographing individual plates, entire tables and sideboards, ingredients, etc.?

Shlepping a pair of 850s, tripod and lenses (did anyone consider a back-up when 5 miles out the first one takes a tumble?) is no joke. How much file size do you need for enlargement, print and publication?

It's the drive that is knocked out of alignment. I dug out and booted an older Mac, that drive reads the CDs I've loaded so far, so I guess I can network the two and share the files. Thanks everyone!
