I can't remember my answer............
Not familiar with this Nikon. Is it full frame? Thanks.
I was a portrait photographer for 40 years and appreciate your skill. Retired now and looking for a really good "smaller" camera for fun. Your image is so sharp and crisp, would you mind sharing your camera.lens & some post for me to steal!
This might not be the proper forum for this question, but I'm new so sorry if it is.........when I'm invited to download a picture, I right click (windows 7) & send it to my desktop. It works, but when I drag it into PS6 it warns me that the image is truncated & it doesn't load completely. Am I doing something wrong? I also use Snap 7 but if the downloaded image is larger that my screen it won't capture all of it. Thanks.
Just curious...........sounds like you work at (or own) B&H. Regardless, what camera(s) do you like for this type of photography? I have a Panasonic ZS 40 thay I like. Do you think the Lumix ZF 1000 (or Leica V LUXtype 109) is too imposing for the street? Thanks.
I have a Panasonic Lumix ZS 40 purchased at Costco for $279. 24-720 lens + 2x digital. I am making 11x14's with no trouble and larger with help from Genuine Fractals (now OnOne Upsize). The lens alone is worth 5x the price. Shoots raw but the Jpegs are so beautiful I stopped the raw. I'm probably going to buy a Lumix ZF 1000 (same as Leica V LUX type 109) that has a larger sensor. It's a bridge camera 24-400 lens f2.8-f4 that is very light weight for "serious" shots. Good luck.
Thanks for the links. They are for Canon & I use Nikon. Not worried, but as a 40 year event photographer I owe it to my clients to be prepared. If I know a lens might fail soon, I would buy a replacement first. Amateurs don't have to worry. Pros do.
I should have been more clear. Is there a focusing motor in the lens? I was planning to use it on a Nikon D5100 & D5300 that do not have focusing motors in the body.
Is it auto focus & stabilized? Thank you.
