I understand that normally HD's use three identical but bracketed images. This was one image from which two copies were made where one was made darker and and the other lighter. The HD option used was "saturated."
much better. I now can see all the wonderful detail in the picture. Sometimes its better when someone else looks at a picture and sees what you don't. There are many people on this site that submit bad pictures and when you tell them what you think is wrong they get offended. Thank you for being open minded. I like them all even the new ones you sent. You have a good eye The purple in the sky , was that natural. or did you make it like that.
I'm not sure at this point if it was the color-enhancing filter I was using or a Photoshop embellishment. I have red-green deficient vision and sometimes over-compensate.
I like them a lot you took and saw pictures others would pass. Im tired of seeing pics of the freedom tower. The colors on the glass building with the sun on it is magnificent. I would make the last one a little lighter
One of two store-window cats around on a sunny Sunday morning at seven in the local pet-store window. But this lazybones cat only looks like its stalking the stuffed dog. Its eyes were closed the entire minute or two I snapped the picture
I like this photo very much. Love the colors and composition. What is the "unusual appearance"? The only thing "unusual" I see is that guitar seems one-dimensional; no shadows to convey a 2-D object.
Thank you. Maybe there is a better way to say it. I just read in Wikipedia that "with high-dynamic-range composite images you get a greater dynamic range of luminosity than is possible with standard digital imaging or photographic techniques." I guess such photos sometimes can look different from what we expect of photos.
There wasn't much shadow in this image because I took the three pictures in a dimly lit room with no electric lighting. There was just a small amount of window light coming from across the room so I needed a tripod and left the shutter open for thirty seconds. And because the guitar was flat on the floor there were almost no reflections, except maybe in the tuning knobs area or the tiny floor crevice areas.
Thanks all. I noticed when I got home that by looking through the side window of the store out of the front window (by the bell's handle) a man can be seen in the photo walking on the sidewalk. I read somewhere how the eye and mind edit out these "extra" things when you take a picture.
