Simplest explanation.

All lenses AND all camera bodies are built individually with plus/minus tolerances. In other words shimmed to differing specs.

There is not often such a thing as a bad or good copy of a specific lens. In fact, there are simply wrong combinations of the plus/minus tolerances.

The average person would be hard pressed to make a determination about a bad combination of specs , OR a BAD MATCH from one lens to one body. There are some simple tests for front and back focus of a partiicular lens to a particular body. But in reality we used to send a lens and a body into the shop to have the lenses shimmed to match bettter. NOW, conclude for yourselft that the more lenses you attempt to build into a kit, the more likely you are to run into these bad tolerance pairings. It's a DIY nightmare if you don't understand that it is a technical matcing of the lens TO the camera if the tolerances are at the opposing ends of the plus/minus.

I recall sending lenses along with bodies in to have them recalibrated (re-shimmed) to operate correctly.

In recent years advancements software fixes have been employed in the systems to allow user calibration of sorts. It's still a serious problem for those who are constantly buying and shifting to new and different lenses. It's a relatively exact and correctable problem, which can be resolved by throwing large amunts of money at the problem

And it's also not necessarily assignable to using third party lenses. It is particularly a quality of manufacture issue both on camera bodies and lenses.

It will drive you crazy if you don't understand what's happening here and properly address the issue. Most likely professionally.

The only art I see here is that fantastic old Buick Roadmaster. Tons of that old art driving around Havana and also Uruquay is a hot spot for old US domestic automobiles.

My parents were both cremated and buried in urns in the order of death in the same hole. Dad first, then a few years later my mothers urn buried in the same hole, her urn on top of his.

I've pretty much assumed that I would do the same, but with only my urn on the bottom, and the urn of the next good looking woman, after me.

But then I heard a good plan and this DIY casket ties in well.

I have to talk with my nephew about helping me with this one.

Do the DIY casket and have a funeral. After the Eulogy, my nephew will arrange to have the organ player plays "POP GOES THE WEAZEL" over and over. Manwhile my nephew will videotape the people in the church to capture their increasingly horrified faces each time the POP goes off.

Fujifilm Mirrorless Digital Camera body. This was a new kit in 2014 and is in excellent operating condition. Body only in original box w accessories. Works fine, shows some wear on silver portions (paint wear only). Great entry level camera for lightweight mirrorless digital. One small smudge on LCD.

Camera body.. 16 Mp
Strap
charger and battery (1)
Body cap
Manual and docs in original box
Data cable.

*FIRMWARE IS UPDATED TO LATEST V 2.70, WHICH INCLUDES FOCUS PEAKING*

I have owned about four of the X-E1 and X-E2 models. Keeping my X-E2 and the lens from this kit.

Only issues are cosmetic on this camera. The X series camera bodies are all black (poly carbonate?) and the silver models are simply a silver paint applied over the black. The silver bodies show paint wear. This is very common. The LCD works fine and the smudge (small lower center) does not impact viewing or images.

These cameras are great for using legacy prime lenses with adaptors and the focus peaking function. This is an inexpensive entry for you to try out Mirrorless. I normally fit these cameras with a thumbs up grip that fits in the hot shoe and a Hand grip with ARCA plate. About $30 worth of accessories. The hand grip make the camera fit bigger hand and does not add much to the weight... a few ounces. The camera had both Optical and LCD, with live view.

The lens variety from Fujifilm is large and growing, plus and endless inventory of legacy lenses.

I have feed back here and over 600 feedback at 100% on ebay as kuzano

Ship only to CONUS for $235 including shipping. Paypal OK.

NOTE NO LENS. While the box shows the original lens as the 18-55mm, I am keeping that lens for my X-E2.

Various statistics rate these eternal scams at roughly 5% successful, meaning there are a lot of sheep and suckers out there considering the projected numbers on the scams sent. 1 out of every 20 people who get these things lose considerable money in responding favorably.

Primary factors, ignorance and greed.

I purchased from this seller before, very happily indeed.

Secondly I have been shopping the X-T2 Fuji and the 18-55 lens recently. I just bought the lens. The price on this kit is VERY fair. One can rarely find this lens alone for $300, if not more, making the price for the camera very good in this combination. If I had not recently purchased this lens, I'd be all over this kit.

This has the 24 Mp sensor and great reviews. Still a top Fujifilm Contender.

Good seller, Popular kit at a good price. Good Luck Ralph.

I think the answer to your question is very simple. I am inclined to think that a RAW plua Jpeg, produces the same RAW as a RAW shot alone. Your question is quite clear to me, and requires no other clarification.

Lay down whatever is bothering you, breathe in the fresh air and “LISTEN” to this story.

Time is like a river. You cannot touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Enjoy every moment of life.

As a bagpiper, I play many gigs. Recently I was asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper's cemetery in the Nova Scotia back country.

As I was not familiar with the backwoods, I got lost and, being a typical man, I didn't stop for directions.

I finally arrived an hour late and saw the funeral guy had evidently gone and the hearse was nowhere in sight.

There were only the diggers and crew left and they were eating lunch. I felt badly and apologized to the men for being late.

I went to the side of the grave and looked down and the vault lid was already in place. I didn't know what else to do, so I started to play.

The workers put down their lunches and began to gather around. I played out my heart and soul for this man with no family and friends. I played like I've never played before for this homeless man.

And as I played "Amazing Grace", the workers began to weep. They wept, I wept, we all wept together.

When I finished, I packed up my bagpipes and started for my car. Though my head was hung low, my heart was full.

As I opened the door to my car, I heard one of the workers say, "I never seen anything like that before, and I've been putting in septic tanks for twenty years."

Apparently, I'm still lost … it's a man thing.

I believe that Daido Moriyama uses predominantly Ricoh, but don't know if he uses the GRIII. I do know he has used the GR family.

If you watch any of his youtube videos, it would be clear why you are hooked on Ricoh. Moriyama is heavily published and shown in major art museums around the world. Master of B/W and Street. I go online often and pull up new videos on youtube to look at the work of Daido Moriyama.

I have developed an inclination toward the purchase of a Ricoh based largely on watching Moriyama videos. I am always wary of camera's that are largely popular due to "cult" following, but the GR III looks like a good bet. I feel as a "street wannabe", the Ricoh is likely the best bet. The form of the camera certainly does not hurt, and the rave reviews do certainly exclude a lot of other makers from the field.

Well now, that's interesting. Originally Leica was poised to be part of the 4:3 movement (consortium) but appeared to have dropped out. They have certainly done a large part in participating with the Lumix name, in collaboration with Panasonic. Nikon/Canon certainly have a bit more competition in the mirrorless market.

I just watched a review of the 24 Mp FF S1, and the new camera MUST CERTAINLY be weather resistant if not waterproof. The reviewer was drooling all over this S1.

Question, burkphoto, are you saying that the list of lenses that fit 4:3 mounts will all fit the new S1 and S1R. WOW! SHUT THE DOOR!!!

Panasonics new S1 is a Full Frame at 24 Mp mirrorless. When did that happen?

Here is the B&H link to the new Panasonic S1. The last large sensor camera I have seen from Panasonic since I owned a Panasonic L1 with the 4:3 sensor, alongside the Olympus E-1Professional (2003). Panasonic dropped out of the DSLR race at that time. The L1 was DSLR with 7.5 Megapixels in 2003 and a superb lens at 14-50mm.

String pods fit in your pocket, or camera bag. They can be made for less than $5 with parts from a hardware store. They can be made DIY in a String pod that fits on one or both feet. Have been using a string pod for years. If you leave it at home on a long air or car trip, you can stop in a local hardware store at your destination. An airline will never tell you there is no room on the flight for a String Pod.

If the Pope will let you take a camera into the Vatican, It's unlikely He or She will not allow your String Pod.
