Stunning photo! Thank you for sharing. It encourages me to keep trying to capture similar bird in flight images. Would you share the specifics of the exposure, focus mode, camera, and lens settings? They would help me get a feel for the conditions supportive of such a shot and add to what I've learned from Steve Perry at Backcountry Gallery.

Here you go...
Took this shot some yeas ago now and my faithful D7100 is long gone, sold it a few years ago.

Nikon D7100
1/500 sec
F5.6
ISO 320
Nikon AF-S 70-300 F4.5-5.6 ED VR Zoom lens @ 300mm (450mm = 35mm equivalent)
Spot focus

I didn't need an overly fast shutter speed as I was panning with the bird.
Cheers,
Ron.

Ron, I really like challenges like this. May I please have another go?
Is it possible that the daughter is blushing? Look at the difference between the daughter's left arm and her neck and face.
The daughter's left arm and her Mother's face are similarly light.
Another possibility could be the color temperature/focus of the (ambient/flash) lighting.
Thanks for the exercise . . . .

You are welcome! It was a fun excuse to try to improve my masking and color correction in Lightroom Classic. I'm sure there is a better way that I should know, but don't.

Your signature suggests that you are from a very far away place from where I live!

Yes Bill, lovely Adelaide in South Australia...
