Sounds just like my Yorkie Gizmo. He does the same thing.

We have a golden that is a real chow hound. Her nose is something else! Cute shot Bruce.

We have several priorities... grandchildren, family and friends are of course number 1, then our Yorkies 2, then astronomy and photography 3, and for brevity last somewhere down low on the list house and yard work 100(+/-)...
P.S.
Didn't put a lot of thought into the pecking order... I know someone will point that out to me!

My buddy Chewy seems like a reincarnated human being at times... Chewy has a different way of begging...
Chewy will jump up on the couch when I sneak into the livingroom with dinner... but the nose knows and no escaping Chewy's keen nose for food!
Chewy will place his head and rest it in the bend of my arm at my elbow... he anchors his head there firmly while looking up at me to see if I notice him there!
If I ignore him he will wiggle a little and firmly seat his head in the bend of my arm with an occasional lick on my arm to let me know he is still there waiting!

Lovely photo. Are they still with you?
Yes... and four more and fully grown... range in weight from 5-9 pounds...

Thanks Don... much appreciated..
I was lucky enough to have my camera ready for this capture at Fernbank Park in Cincinnati...
about 1-2 miles from my house on the bank of the Ohio River...
I took this photo of two of my Yorkies a few years back as they were sitting together on my couch back
while looking out the window and watching the birds and squirrels scurrying about...
Mom and Pop sharing a moment together in their Golden Years...
Thanks gregoryd45... much appreciated...
