Not exactly street but very interesting. As most WW2 vets have passed on I thank you for your fathers service, or if he is still among us please thank him for me. We had one lad in our town killed flying the hump. A friends father also flew it in converted B24 bombers which I believe carried the designation of C87. She has pictures of him ferrying Chinese troops in the plane.
His eyes are locked on the kid's eyes and from his expression I would think the kid darn well better pay attention. Well done.
It sure must be fun watching them get those wheelchairs and scooters up and down from the 5th floor. I hope that place has an elevator. Tom doesn't need a business consult, but a big dose of common sense sure is in order. In all fairness it is probably just an office that you can call or have an able bodied family member go to to transact any necessary business. It certainly does seem very ludicrous though. Good catch Voss. You were very observant catching this one.
Well he looks tall enough to have his head in heaven and his body down here. What were the cops up to? Perhaps writing him a ticket for obstructing the sidewalk? Definitely a keeper Voss.
I think it might be case of make up your mind we don't have all day. Good catch.
A meetup at the art gallery? The ladies faces convey a look of true joy at seeing each other once again. Nice to see a photo with joy and warmth. Thanks for posting it Voss.
I see a lot of comments which in my opinion are pure speculation. Was he high on drugs, full of booze, or who knows what? All I and I think in all honesty anyone can say is that it is a photo of a person laying on the sidewalk. His head is covered so you couldn't say for certain if the person was conscious or unconscious. That photo doesn't really tell you much about the circumstances surrounding why the person was laying there.
I think the best part of these projects is finding a great new use for the property and yet keeping up the historical appearance on the exterior. That way the history of the area isn't totally lost. It is my guess the flooring is the original. I like looking at old floors in factory buildings as they usually are dinged up from use and one can just imagine the floor area busy with fork lifts moving merchandise and parts from place to place and adding a few dings along the way. Nice job Voss and a unique photo subject.
To me more than imaginary lover it looks like total rejection. Different eyes, different perception. Interesting shot and thought provoking.
Yup, the gallopin rods are missing. Very good Voss.
Now that looks like a nasty bit of weather. Nice shot.
Nice catch. I wonder why the young lady looks so skeptical?
I have a feeling ain't nobody happy already. Hope that poor guy has ear plugs or can blank his mind. I am thinking he bought that hoist and is calling a bud to come with a truck, and it was definitely not an agreed upon purchase. Love to let my mind conjure up scenarios Voss. Thanks for the mornings thought provoker.
Deer are vegetarians, bugs are meat? No wonder the bad taste.
Yuck several times over.
There are times when content aces quality. I think this is one of them. They are cute little guys to be sure. At least he knew how to get the camera to record an image. He did well.
