I was having my 4H Photography project kids take photos of a Christmas tree without flashes (to enhance that "glowy ambiance" last night. One student was using a Canon Powershot 1300. Amazine close shots of ornaments, good lighting and sharpness. I'm on eBay looking for a used one.

The thread about the refurbished Canon Powershot S95 sent me to amazon.com to check prices. That camera jumped $10 in the last few days, and the Nikon 35 mm f/1.8 lens has jumped $25. Merry Christmas everybody! I'm glad I'm waiting for the mid-January sales slump to restock.
