That's what I was replying to when I said "good point."
Somehow my reply to him got scooted way down with lots of other comments in between, so that my "good point" lost its context entirely.
Ah yes, the ZS7 IS very handy and goes with me all the time, as well.
Hmm, thanks for responding; are you talking about the G9, or the Lumix? I really liked the G9 but, after being knocked over by a rogue wave in my back, even holding the camera above my head, it got soaked and cost me $400 to get a new circuit board; then, when the electical went out on the trip, and I was told the average life span is about 4 yrs., and mine was 4.5 yrs, PLUS I needed a camera right then and there, I sadly scapped the G9. I do like the Lumix much better than I anticipated from such a small camera.

SORRY: how does one delete?
THANKS! As you see, I followed your advice right away.
HELP...
how do I put a profile photo with my user name?
neither rain nor sleet nor snow will keep me from trying to get an interesting photo. Am an amateur with an under $500 camera. Had a Canon G9, whose electronics gave out during a May 2011 trip, so I bought a Panasonic DMC-ZS7 on the spot just to continue the vacation photos. That's what I'm using now.
