You know the old saying, "you harvest what you sow". That's what happens when everybody sleeps on an issue such as this from the day one. If you do a research on it, you will find that illegal immigration was not only needed, but was advocated, especially from the early 1800s on, by the businesses and farmers. Congress had accepted this fact and it wasn't just the liberals, all the conservatives were for it too. Farm economy was groving with leaps and bounds and they needed cheap labor. They tried the native Americans first but it didn't work out. Those from south of the border were good workers and cheap. We created the emigrant problem, now we are bitching after the fact. Now we kid ourselves by pointing a finger to the liberals for not fixing something that took over a century create, when in fact, both sides of the isle had f''''d up.
