Unfortunately, I feel I've wasted enough of my time in applying for this card to begin with. It would be fool hearty for me to believe I would be (1) willing to spend any more of my time trying to convince this bank of my favorable credit rating rating and (2) much less that they would reverse their original decision.
The primary point of writing this communication, is to advise B&H by partnering with this bank, they are subjecting their customers that have a favorable credit score to rejection after waiting a prolonged period of time for this (in my opinion) unwarranted decision.

Why do Republicans and Conservatives stay dumb?
Mostly because they've closed their minds to any thoughts that do not co-align with their own.
They believe what they believe and no facts can make them believe otherwise.
Then they believe that anyone who doesn't believe what they believe is dumb, instead of investigating it and finding out whether that other person is right or wrong.
Perhaps the biggest problem with Republicans is that they hate anyone who is unlike them and believes that people who are unlike them actually hate everyone else.
Someday, history will look back at the Republican party and condemn it for being the party that was anti-Amerian and believed in suppressing anyone who is unlike themselves.
Oh one more thing BGrouchy, If you're going to call me an asshole, then do it. Spelling it out in dashes just shows what a coward you are.

I am on a Mac. Recently one of my external hard drives has started acting flakey and I think it is probably going bad. I have already acquired a replacement hard drive. How do I seamlessly or with a reasonable amount work replace the hard drive? Even though the flakey drive is more like a backup it does apparently have 55,000 images on it that are in the Lightroom catalog. Most of the errors I have had are write errors on the flakey drive. I do have a backup of the flakey drive. Writing all of the files from the flakey drive to the new one will take hours. I would not trust the flakey drive to permit drag and drop in LR. If an error occurred during the move, where would I be?
I have 3 ideas for dealing with this.
If I format and rename the new drive with the same name and file structure as the flakey drive, I could trick LR into thinking nothing has changed. What I do not like about this option is the old drive is named "WD My Book 6TB". The new drive is a WD Elements 8TB drive.
Is there a way in LR to tell it to repoint a large set of folders in the catalog to a different set of folders?
I am not happy with the 55,000 images on that drive being in the catalog. The vast majority of those images exist in my "Main Photo" folder on a different drive. If I could remove those 55,000 images from the LR catalog and then reimport them from"Main Photo" without having to go through those 55,000 images one by one, that would allow a simpler solution.

I walked through John Heinz NWR for a couple of hours today. I saw two hawks, an eagle flying overhead, lots of ducks and geese, and got shots of all. I stopped to take a break on a bench when a male Mallard came towards me - it turned out to be my best shot of the day.

Within the past two months, I have had two separate Seagate External HD fail on me. Both were my main A vs B drives. Needless to say I did back up to a B drive but seem to have lost the last week's images because A did not backup to B via Chrono Sync despite receiving a report to the contrary.
I spoke with Seagate and they offered for me to return the less than 6 week old 8T drive to them and see if they could recover the images (thousands) but I had to provide a minimum of 30 days for them to keep the drive. They also sent me a recovery software which I am running right now but a full run is over 16 hours. I don't know how it will recover when I can't even get disk utility to read the drive as it remains unmounted and nothing I do can mount it. There's obviously a defect in the drive.
It cost me a few hundred dollars in professional time to get the other 8T backup after a corruption. It said I could copy and transfer but not save, so absolutely able to save those many thousands of images. The B drive continues to work well.
Now I have two 8T drives that don't work well and I need to rescue my images off the second one. If my attempts fail, I will send back (begrudgingly) to Seagate to see what they can do.
I have been using a Mac book pro approximately 6 years old running Monterrey. All the rest of the computer functions work including three other Seagate drives holding older images. I followed all steps recommended by Seagate to verify the intergrity of this HD (or non integrity??).
Has anyone else experienced this horrific situation and if so what was the resolution? And also, now, I'm looking for other suggestions/solutions/storage options. Looking to the Hogs for help. TIA.
