I did not read all the responses... but I have a very successful photography business. I shoot sports, outdoor portraits, and recently did my first wedding (with great success).... I only shoot JPEG. The main reason I guess is that is how I learned, and it works for me. I don't even know how to open a RAW file on my computer.

I bought same lens new a few years back , wanted to start birds shots .i would say that in good light , it does ok .At time , if you shoot white birds in bright light , you end up with purple edges on bird . In cloudy bright it does best .forget the X 2 adapter . also dont crop the pictures too much ,the quality goes down compared with a main brand lens .It is light , focus easily , fits any camera with the right adapter [ $ 5 ] .I did enjoy it for a couple of years , before moving on to more pricey stuff . Would buy it again .

Thanks for the info !!! Yes - it is definitely a "just for fun" type lens. But it is pretty fun. While I had it set up, we spied on some of the neighbors, ha ha

This lens ROCKS!!! It takes fantastic images, but I'm selling off all my EF gear and making the break to all RF. I have sold all my DSLR's except some old rebels to teach with. So this guy needs a new home. It is in very good shape, it does show some signs of age, the black grips are a little bit faded (you can see in the photos) and 2 teeny tiny scratches on the exterior off white paint. I had to really search to find those scratches - you will never notice them. But it has had a good easy life, and looks great.

Please feel free to ask questions or throw me an offer

I really like Venmo, but I will use pay pal, and I will take a check

Comes with the original box, caps, hood, and pouch

Here you can see one tiny scratch above the 7

I took this photo with this lens, it has great reach, these arenas are huge

This is a fun manual lens . It has a T mount - but I have the T to Canon EOS adapter. So for all Canon EF cameras.
I bought this to play around with, but I never used it.

Here is what Adorama says about this lens:
Bower T-Mount 500mm F/8 Preset Telephoto Lens, Requires T-Mount
The Bower T-Mount 500mm F/8 Preset Telephoto Lens is a classic refractor-style T-mount lens, with an aperture diaphragm in the middle of the lens body to stop down the aperture when necessary. When combined with the T-mount to fit your camera system, this super telephoto lens works on both "35mm/Full Frame Sensors” as well as the "APS-C" style digital SLR cameras. T-Mounts are available for all the digital SLR systems. However, in every case the aperture is not communicated to the camera body. As such, you can use the lens in "M" manual exposure mode or "A" aperture-priority mode only. This lens' sophisticated achromatic refractor design yields images with pleasing peak contrast and well controlled flare. It can be used at f/8 maximum aperture on a very bright day for images of moving subjects. This T-Mount 500mm Preset Telephoto lens is offered in new condition only with free shipping!

I'm selling the lens, adapter, and a Rokinon 2X multiplier for $50
Payment: Venmo, Paypal, you can send me an check,
Please feel free to ask questions

Attached to a Rebel with the T-Mount to Canon adaptor that I am sending. The lens will work with any camera with a T mount adapter

This picture was taken with the lens. When I got it attached to my camera I realized I had no idea how to use it. But I played around a bit and it is very capable of very crisp photos with some practice

Hi - Thank You for your interest. The live view does time out, seems like about 2 minutes. I can't find anything on the menu to make it continuous. I will keep playing with it to see if I can find something.

For Sale is my Canon G11 $80
Gorgeous point and shoot camera, but it is chunky and lots of options to make it feel like a miniature DSLR
Comes with original box, papers, cords, battery, charger, strap, etc.. Plus I'm also sending a great case, and a memory card. So you can Open -and go !!

Works perfect, beautiful PQ, and FUN to use.

*only thing is the flip out LCD is a bit loose, but it works perfectly... but gravity will open the LCD - check photos

I can be paid with Venmo, or Paypal

I will be out of town Friday April1 - Monday April 4 - so I won't be able to ship those days

DP review writes:
" G11 reduces the pixel count from 14.7 to 10 megapixels in a move that sacrifices low ISO resolution for better performance at higher settings, and ends up a better camera for it. The G11 combines some of the best compact camera image quality with excellent levels of manual control, an optical viewfinder, flip-out screen, raw capability, superb battery life, flexible lens range and the ability to mount dedicated flashguns. It may not be the smallest camera out there (in fact it's one of the largest to use such a small sensor), but, if you can live with the compromises this all-round ability brings, then there's little that can touch it."

tiny tiny bit of chipped paint on the lens ring, above the word LENS

Gravity opens the loose LCD, but it never bothered me

I owned both the Canon G7Xmii, and G5Xmii, - I tried so much to love them but they were terrible! The autofocus was super funky. I sold them both - and opened a line of credit at Adorama to purchase the Sony RX100 vii. Best decision ever. If you already have $700 saved - I would keep saving or open a credit card for the rest. I like the Panasonics, they are beautiful cameras - but the Sony is still better
