Jerry, I've quit doing anything with Aperture because another problem created when losing this particular project is that every photo in Aperture now is frozen and can't be moved. When I tried to export photos from another project for the slide show I got the drop down, "Versions with invaluable Master files cannot be exported. Please reconnect & try again". I've to export photos at random and there is nothing now that I can get OUT of Aperture. So I'm not fooling around with it until I can figure out what's happening with not only lost pictures, but getting an answer as to why everything else is frozen in the program.
Slide show is OK in Power Point. Just have lost all photos in project from where I was pulling a selection of photographs.
Have have tried to pull up individually with no luck.
Big Bear; maybe you can answer this problem: Exporting from an Aperture project to Desktop to sequentially drop into a Power Point Presentation. All of a sudden, two project just disappeared and I can't find them anywhere.
Then later on tried to export out of another project file and got the dropbox notation "Versions with unavailable Master files cannot be exported. Please reconnect & try again". Further, every photo in every project now is frozen.
Backtracked to Aperture library to open Master file and there's nothing there. No one seems to be able to explain. Can you help?
As a newbie here, maybe someone can shed light on photo project disappeared "poof" into thin air from Aperture while exporting various photos into desktop to arrange sequentially into a Power Point slide presentation. If anyone encountered this malady and can share a solution, it would be very much appreciated...thanks
Thanks for the welcome. Am a little embarrassed re the gargantuan photo. Thought I was adding a little pic by my ID info
but ended up with a screaming billboard.....guess that just proves I really am a "Newbie"
Have been Hog follower and see very little mentioned on Aperture which I purchased for my Mac since I've used IPhoto early on. Did a search on Aperture and didn't find too much. Anyone taken the plunge with Aperture?
Been learning and loving the Hog for months now and discovered that I'd never "officially" joined up. My bad! But corrected that situation and glad to be aboard the HOG.
