People of all ages are also into the practice of lomograpy, which is the practice of using very poorly constructed film and instant film camera's to create art. It's a popular hobby which particularly requires cheap and poorly constructed camera's as the centerpiece of the images for strange artistic creation.

Lomographers, the artists practicing lomography would likely gobble up the cameras you describe. I have purchased and sold lots of film gear that is perfect for lomography using cameras that one might expect more from as you describe. Frankly there were few cameras ever built that could not produce good images in the right hands. And if not the right hands of a true artist, at least in the hands of a "lomographer" with a good artistic psyche.

I have no trouble at all "SELLING" used film equipment. Simply getting rid of it is much easier. In fact, I will probably pay shipping to me if thats what it takes to get this equipment to people who will use it.

I:
1) donate to community colleges and other schools, which all have ongoing FILM programs.
2) Sell on eBay for over 20 years now (Taught eBay in community college for 15)
3) donate to GoodWill and other charities who resell and help low income people.
4) List very carefully on Craigslist and on Facebook Marketplace locally.
5) donate to people who express interest in film. Many young people are taking up film photography
6) Old lenses particularly are being used with adaptors on digital cameras.
7) I made about $800 just this month on old camera equipment, mostly film to supplement my SSI at 76 years of age.

My time is well spent on these endeavors. There is "gold in them hills" amd value in "them closet cameras"

Pleas list what you have and at least elicit offers. Shipping only if you don't have a use for all the money you could be reaping from sale of same.

I've had $3000 months on vintage and fairly contemporary film equipment.

If you want to lose money, collect digital and smart phone cameras.

SOLD, Thank you.!!!!!!!

My JOBO CPE2 Film Processor, with lift needs a repair. Going to have that done, but have some tanks I no longer use. Clean and usable. Best to see the pics. Pricing these on ebay ranges from $50 to $200. I want $100 for all the tanks and fittings, Have the 2840 Drum, The 1520 Unitank and 1530 Tank Module, and the cog drive lid for the 1530. Also have the lid for the 2840.

Price for all, $100, plus $25 to ship.

May separate for offers.

The JOBO lift CPE needs to have the lift remounted, but it all works. Could be shipped and will entertain offers on this unit. The brass studs for mounting the lift have come loose. Fix would be a permanent affixing to the base, Epoxy maybe. Would work fine. We can talk about that if you like. Refurbs for the CPE2 JOBO with lift are going for $800 and more on eBay.

Just selling the tanks for now to clear a room.

SOLD!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

When Olympus created the first Mirrorless along side Panasonic (Yes the first mirrorless in 2006) All the PEN models used LCD only. EVF's came out on the OM-D models. The PEN models had an accessory port. One of the accessories was a series of Electronic Viewfinders in a small pouch. This is the VF2 View Finder, which adds EVF to your PEN.

These still sell on eBay in large numbers from $100 to $200 plus.

I bought one for my Olympus E=PL1.

The finder is like new in the original box with documentation. It has the pouch and cover for the port insert. It allows you to carry your PEN with it's small profile, and yet add EFV capability. Has a switch and switches off the LCD if you like. Fits in the hotshoe of your PEN and has focus adjustable eyepiece.

I'm cleaning house and will sell and ship this viewfinder to CONUS addresses for $75. Like new, works great. Excellent low price.

See Pics. Will ship when money hits my Paypal. I have feedback here and over 600 on eBay as kuzano.

What the h*** does this have to do with photography? Post it on your Facebook page, where your "friends" might give a damn.

Hey RICH... It's in the Chit Chat section where these types of items are to be posted. Don't be such a single minded, and narrow minded poster. Read the UHH rules. Chit Chat is just that. Most of the people hare are multi talented and can handle more than one subject.

Get a life, perhaps with some other interests.

That sounds like a fun project! I have several 110s sitting around and would love to see details on the conversion.

Andy,

There are a lot of variations of conversions of the Polaroid 110, 110A and B, The Razzle conversions got my attention some years ago. Here is a link to a more recent Byron 110 B conversion that actually uses interchangeable lenses to shoot 4x5, AND use the B rangefinder.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djy4CXMXZls

I much preferred the Razzle variants by a fellow named Dean from Australia. Then I went on to cut the superfluous metal from the 110 body, ground screen focus, and a slightly lighter body and Fujifilm Quickload envelopes.

I even have a variation the uses 35mm cartridges and creates some hellish big panoramas on 35mm film.

It's been fun.

I used to own a Polaroid 110b, similar to this camera. Converting 1960 dollars to today's dollar, this camera is not overpriced.

I have a couple of Polaroid 110B's modded to shoot 120 roll film, and one to shoot 4X5 DDS format film. I can pick up another (about to) 110A complete kit for $100 on local Craigslist posting. Cheaper to make your own and the 110A & B's have a quality Rodenstock Ysarex 125 Cm lens.

Hence Medium or large format.

Oregon has no state sales tax. People from Idaho, Northern California, and Washington shop in Oregon. No businesses in Oregon charge an Oregon state sales tax on anything purchased on their premises IN Oregon. I have never heard that there has been a change on this and when I was in banking, no car dealers charged a sales tax on purchases made in Oregon, no matter what the sales tax laws were in any state of residence, if the buyer paid for and took delivery in Oregon.

Oreonian have resisted successfully any attempt at sales tax in any form for decades after watching surrounding states promise other tax break in exchange for sales tax, and then getting screwed out of the deal after allowing passage of sales tax.

Likewise, most of Oregon has no DEQ inspection in a majority of the state. I live in Central Oregonand have never paid state sales tax, nor had any vehicles shut down for emission control standards.

Some local sales taxes exist, and the NW part of Oregon inspects and can shut down your vehicles for pollution standards not met IN THOSE AREAS.

Oregon voters are hardened on this issue. I am 76 and never seen a successful battle to add sales taxes statewide on this issue. And last year three very high money campaigns were fought to get the foot in the door on some very unique issue descriptions. Again Oregon said F U politicians and lobbyists. Almost every voter in Oregon remembers when Idaho voters "rolled over" 5 decades ago based on promises of reduced personal income taxes, which never took place.

I have been shooting since 1965, both film and digital.....

Still about 50% film.

Over that period of time (54 years) my keeper rate has been two images.

During the time I became literate with Adobe Photoshop, my keeper rate went down.
After I BLEW OFF Adobe, My keeper rate went back up.

No Shit! And No time wasted on PP. Only SOOC! No RAW since dropping Adobe!

No charge? That sounds kinda fishy to me.

That's great service! Send it in and have them clean it. It will be like a new camera.

Sounds exactly like Olympus. I've been shooting Olympus since the fifties when I bought an Olympus Six folder. Really latched onto them in the early 70's when the OM's came out. In fact the first OM was called an M1, and they made a few hundred of them, before Leica complained and caused them to change the M1 to the OM-1. You can still find the original M1 on eBay more often than not. Still shooting away, No mechanical difference from the M1 to the OM-1.

I've owned all the Olympus 4/3 camera's including the E-1 up to the OMD E-M1 and had no fails.

On top of that, I will not have a colonoscopy done, unless the lab I go to owns and Olympus Colonoscope to wend it's way up my Colon.

I still own and shoot an Olympus E-1 Professional, and a tiny Pen E-PL1, which is the sharpshooter that Olympus began the trend of reducing and dropping AA filters and started the mirrorless movement.

I have not yet saved up enough money to buy an Olympus Colonoscope or any other of their industry leading medical optics.

Maybe next year, now that they have flavored that bowel cleanse one must drink for three days prior to a colonoscopy.

I am a devout Olympusian Enthusiast.

Remember that Credit Unions may operate under the state banking regulators, or federal regulation of the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration). Many credit unions choose to operate under state law and regulation because of certain freedoms of each states Charter. Most credit unions who choose state regulation do so to open up their membership restriction, to operate more like banks. The advantage... hard to define and often hard to defend.

Deposit insurance differs, with the NCUA covering federally chartered Credit Unions.
