I hear what you are saying RJ but why not make use of some thing you already have without reverting to another device to make up the deficiencies of the first device. Folks read things all the time on their iPhone screen. What about being able to bring up a ND conversion chart without having to go to your phone or dig out a printed cheat sheet.... I am sure there are lots of Ideas folks on this site could conjure up by thinking out of the box a little. The whole Idea of my post was to think a little unconventually.

If the manual is on the camera, how do you read the manual and do what it says? You would have to close the manual, then open the menu and try to remember what the manual said. Not too practical.

Plus the screen would be small and hard to read, the tablet seems to be ideal for reading the instructions and adjusting the camera step by step.

No gmail is part of google also. They are doing away with all consumer items and going to business only.

Just like others have said, google+ is not gmail.

Don't read into this what is not there.

This is fine as long as you realize that all photos on FB are thumbnails, whether copied from a post or from a message. Knowing this and to discourage misuse I usually just post photos of ~100KB.

I use SmugMug for higher definition access.

Also facebook's terms of service gives facebook rights to use any of the photos.

Flickr is free, whether the images can be viewed-only or available for download is simply a matter of how you set the privacy settings on the images when stored to the site. The "free" limit is only how many you want to upload per day or keep on their site in total. The technical skills needed of your target audience is low as most of your audience will typically be view-only. To share you just need to send a URL link to all the images, or to individual albums should you organize the images into albums, such as 1 per game, etc.

As of January 1, 2019 the free site at Flickr is limited to 1000 photos total. Over that amount of photos and the next step will cost about $50.00 per year.

B & H's warehouse moved from NYC to NJ, 2 - 3 years ago. I live in NJ. B & H now charges me sales tax. Prior to moving the warehouse, my purchases were free from NJ sales tax. B & H does not charge sales tax for purchases outside of NJ.

B&H COLLECTS sales tax for the states that request it.

When you go to your local camera store if it still exists, because we all go to the out of state stores that don't charge tax or shipping. They won't charge you shipping if you pick it up. Try buying on line from Hon Kong and they won't charge sipping or tax, good luck

Buying from out of state stores will not get you out of paying sales tax anymore. Most states have now opted for the out of state sales to collect the sales tax. If they do not collect the sales tax, you are responsible for paying it, when you file your state income tax in Illinois anyway.

As an ex-lab guy who ran both silver halide printing operations and inkjet printing operations (and electrostatic and dye sub...), I have to say the answer comes down to this set of questions:

What sort of volume do you anticipate, and with what sort of frequency are you going to want to print? How important are controls over color, privacy, paper stocks, and time? Do you want the best archival results? Do you want to print directly from Lightroom so you get the widest possible color gamut? How good is your monitor, and do you calibrate it and profile it monthly with hardware and software from X-Rite or Datacolor?

For Black-and-White, I'd prefer one of the Epson P-Series ā€” The P400 has two black inks, plus Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Red, Orange, and a Gloss Optimizer. That's so it can print on both glossy and matte surfaces. The larger P-Series printers use a more advanced configuration for a wider color gamut and finer B&W gradation. They're pricey, but pretty amazing.

For most hobbyists or pros who need to do some in-house printing, the Canon Pro-100 is fine for what it is ā€” a great value. I don't have one, but have seen excellent results from them. This forum may help you decide:

I have the Epson P600. It has 3 blacks and does exceptional black and white prints. That is 3 blacks pus matt black.

You've shown us some lovely photos of lovely women! I am getting old, but as I recall, most women have a front side as well. Will you show us some of the front sides of these creatures?

Is this a photo forum or a porn site? Photos posted here are done looking for input on the photography aspects. I am sure if you want to see nude photos of women, there are tons of sites around to do that.

Iā€™m involved with the local Community Hall and we have an auditorium that seats about 120 people. We need to update the audio/visual system in the hall and we are looking to maybe install a powered drop down screen with a WiFi projector system. Just beginning the search and would welcome any recommendations regarding sources and likely systems to get. We are a not-for-profit organization so our funds are limited. Thanks in advance for any info you can share.

First off going with your budget might not be the best option for you. I would suggest that you talk with people at Epson that can recommend products that meet your needs. There are many variables in projectors that make a big difference in image quality projected. Also many variables depending on the size room you have.

Then talk with the people at DaLite as there are many types of screens to use.
