To me, it would have been much more to use the same subject matter in the different modes to campare. The last one of the landscape mode is horrible when in the + setting.

I remember visiting there in the fifties. Very beautiful place.
Its not too far from a restaurant thats located on a point overlooking a Huge rock where Seals were isn't it and also a tremendously large indoor swimming pool ?
Something tells me it doesn't look like that anymore.

I have an 18/130 canon lens that I use almost as an everyday lens on my T2i and am very pleased with it.
I use to have one of those high powered lens/Canon's and found out I hardly used the super power . From what I seen of safari's ,getting close is really no problem.
Oh ya, that lens I have is a stablelized lens.
Just make sure you use a high enough speed setting.
