Wait wait wait wait wait. Just who would the Russians really want to win THIS next election? Trump, the staunch conservative who has been hard on Russia with sanctions, or the Dems who closely mirror their own philosophy? Russia didn't like Hillary because they saw her as a hardliner in foreign affairs but guessed wrong and found Trump to be even harder. They don't want Trump in 2020.
They can't make up their mind which of their unintended consequences they are willing to live with.
