Try Costco's, they have a tripod/monopod combo for about $79.00.

Canon SX50HS - Sold out?

The SX50 is a Canon, not a Sony.

Just because you didn't like what was said in that message doesn't give you the right to go public with it. That tells me that you are a very untrusting person and very shallow in your thinking. It doesn't matter what the content of the message was, it was a PRIVATE MESSAGE to him alone. He had no right to go public with it.
