I see you're from the U.K. Since you've visited Zion, you probably already know that 70+% of its yearly 2 1/2 million visitors are from outside the U.S. I was astonished...although, after years of hiking the trails of southern Utah, I've come to believe that German is the most common language spoken...especially along the more difficult trails. Come back for another visit sometime.

Hiked in Zion last week. January is a great time because the crowds are gone...you almost have the park to yourself.
The Virgin River created Zion ... slowly.

I found this site last Spring (2014). Have been impressed with the knowledge shared by the vast array of characters posting here. I'm an amateur who likes to wander & photograph what I encounter. I live in Utah. I hope to post a few picts of our "Pretty Great State". Thanks to all for the useful info and great pictures that you post.
