I shoot exclusively RAW. All it takes is one jpeg that you messed up white balance or something else and cannot fix it easily with a jpeg, but can with a RAW file.

It is simple to use RAW and then after editing to save as a jpg. Or if you use lightroom, or photoshop, you can convert your RAW to jpg with a click of a button.
