And you wonder why the "libs" say there is a war against women. The invective you rant is very unbecoming of a gentleman. And as to an earlier post about the demise of morals, seeming aimed at us liberals. We have a couple we are friends with who are quite conservative. they are both professionals and make good money. They have two grown children. The girl is a waitress who cannot keep a job for more than a few months due to her drug habit. The boy has at least there children by three different women and the grandparents, our friends, are only able to have a relationship with one. Now I have a subscription to the NY Times, watch Rev Al on Msnbc, probably your worst nightmare. I have a daughter, married with a professional husband, she has advanced degrees and has a good job she loves. They have two children who are very well adjusted, get good grades, do well in sports. My son is college educated and works as a bar tender and a photographer in the Keys, lives on a houseboat, has a sailboat and a motor boat, a Volvo and a pickup truck. Interesting how it worked out, huh? Both children share my politics, my granddaughter met and loved Obama when he was campaigning.
We are not trying to change you. You can be as bitter as you want, it is just a bit unseemly for a grown man to rail against a young woman who is decent and call her every demeaning word you can think of.
And you wonder why the "libs" say there ... (show quote)

Somewhere you took a wrong turn and missed the message.

I have to interject here that I appreciate all of your replies and sometimes if they don't go directly to the question I've asked or others have asked I just kind of edit out the non-relevant parts and absorb the 'important' stuff. I've learned a ton of information by posting here. Thanks.

BTW, I've been a Canon guy for most or my life. This is my first Nikon and I really like it. The next one I buy will be a "big" body Nikon. I wanted to start low-cost as you've probably noticed, I do with everything, and a nice light camera for the type of shooting I do.

Now I've got to figure out what a "lensbaby" fisheye is...lol.
EDIT: never mind.....just googled it. Nice little lens but more costly than I want to start with.

Babies usually cost more than you think they would. :P
I'm a Canon guy myself. I found that getting the best glass even though it cost more, is better than settling for the lesser ones. I can use them on any EOS body which is cheaper to upgrade than the lenses.

Yes, as some of you have alluded to, I really would like to try out this type of photography before spending a lot of money on a lens.
Funny, but with all the camera equipment I've had over the years I've never had a fisheye.

Another question.....I'm a bit quizzical about buying any used camera equipment. Can some of you enlighten me as to safe sites where I could at least expect to find good, working used lenses please.

I have a local dealer that I built a rapport with and have bought a lot of used equipment from.

The Canadians are lucky it wasn't England!

It was when Canada was born.
Then the people decided they could do without George and fought them off and declared independence from big government.
The current regime has created many dependents thus putting us back where we started.

Watched this morning - appalling!! It's time for a special prosecutor; and I love how the left loons continue to look the other way..."nothing to see here, keep moving along." When this administration hangs it up in 2016 it will be interesting to see how many books will come out about the fraud and corruption. Guess the words "lie" and "smidgeon" will become almost synonymous with Obama.

You're too kind to him with the candy coated adjectives.
I'd tell you the real definition but I don't like being banned from a great site like UHH !!

That sounds about right. I just speak (type) in simple English. And with the Southernese version it sometimes gets really hard to understand. Y'all come back now, ya hear!

I tried it in the south … I really didn't like it.

Well if you really want an inexpensive fisheye "lens" I suggest the excellent Rokinon 8mm which can routinely can be found for such brands as Canon and Nikon for $199.

Hey Swampy, is this the kind of lens you use for the gator's great smile ??

The point is, and you really should study this before calling others ignorant, she was not calling for coverage for pregnancy prevention but for hormonal balance. There is no call for coverage of condoms. But health insurance has long covered viagra so are you saying that a horny man is Ok but a horny woman is not?

I don't think it was her hormones that made her imbalanced.

Phoey on the Huey!

This First 2 Health Products offered for us to eat as a nation was:
1.) Eating the crap left the by the tea party upon their . . . Our lose!

2.) The Second was the wonderful support and Gov shut downs caused by the same one's who caused the first dish to be served up!

There a whole lot more where that came from and it was around for YEARS before Our President was elected.

What is sick is the tea party has learned how to repackage that same crap and has found a market hungry to eat some more of that same old same old crap. Now that is service!

BigBear; What I think of the "flake", Fluke, is EXACTLY what I said in my post. She's an embarrassment to all women; she's also very typical of the type of "low-life" scum the libs just love.

I totally agree.
I did before too, just wanted to see what else you had in your arsenal. :P

My Nikon D5200 has the capability of taking a double exposure in camera, two separate photos blended into one. I used to do it a lot with film cameras by holding the rewind button pressed on the bottom of the camera while cocking the shutter. The film did not advance. I got similar effects fo the sample you showed. I have not tried it with a portrait on my DSLR, but I will try the next chance I get. Check your manual to see if your camera can do this. Of course it is also possible to overlay two photos in photoshop and get a similar effect.

I think you got it close Big Bear.

Thanks …
I've been having to learn flash techniques as our son is getting married in May. He told me at the announcement that he wants me to be the 'Dude'.
I asked what dude … 'Well', he said, 'The picture dude' !!

Oh boy … It's an honor and likely the hardest kind of photo shoot to do. There are no second chances to get it right.

Our daughter is my assistant and also in the party. Not sure how that's gonna work. Selfies at a wedding just don't go well … hehehe
