My father told me his job during WW2 was to install the bomb sights in the bombers they where building at Vaulted. Vaulted Aircraft was owned by Howard Hughes and he was the one that built the Spruse Goose. Not sure what plant it was assembled at.
He also told me that the FIB has under cover officers at places near the plant. When the workers who eat there they would ask them what they are building there. My father told them they where building baby cribs and baby buggies. They said cribs and buggies. Dad told them that when the soldiers came home the population is going to increase. The agent told him that make a lot of sense and was an important factor for after the war. Then he left laughing.
Was this bomber built by Vaultee Aircraft? My father showed me bomber he helped build in Bell Ca, during WW2.
Check out the B&H website. WWW.BHPHOTO.COM They carry this camera and carry all the E Mount lens for Sony. They will advise you as the best way to go for the cheapest price and the best lens for you.
A polarizing filter also should be purchased. Canera store will help you and explain how it works completely. It helps with glare from inside shooting out into lught.
Why not ourchase a 16mm to 300mm. 1 lens and 1 uv filter. You have all the photo length in just 1 lens instead of 2. Wish l would have dine this.
What camera where you using? If it was a Monilta, you could use a Sony a68. You Minolta lens would work and the canera would cost under $500 if you shop around. I would try B&H Photo when you want to purchase a new or used camera. I have a Sony a77M2 and love it.
My first camera was a Kodak 110. I was in the cub scouts and sold candy that l received camera ad a prize in 1965. I was about 10 at the time.
Got started taking photos of the Mississippi River flood in 1965. Dad took us to spots in St. Paul where l took photos. One spot was the lift bridge where the railroad had loaded coal cars stored on bridge so the water would nor damage bridge, and the Milwaukee Road yard aka St. Paul yard. The whole yard was totally under 3 feet or more of water.
Next camera was a Sony X700 film and used it to take railroad slides, then a Sony 100 digital until l finally purchased another Sony a77M2. I still take railroad photos. Will always enjoy this.
The owners manual l have for my Sony a99M2 said that windows only reads JPEG and RAW is for Apple only. Maybe there was a mistake in proof reading or printing of manual. I do not know. Maybe the software the person is using has to be updated,to accept RAW files.
The Raw files can only be shown using a Apple Mac computer. All files should be taken in JPEG/RAW mode. This way you can use, either an Apple or Windows.
50 years ago you could have enjoyed a year in Vietnam and you got paid for, along with all the food to eat, free cigarettes and free housing. Clothing was also supplied green clothes.
Yes i did took about three weeks to complete turnaround.
Finally found the problem i was having with this camera. Problem was that it would not read telephoto lens. Kept on getting error message that the lens was not attached and i should remount lens when it was on tight.
Sent camera into Sony repair and the lens mounting was replaced with a heavyer mounting bracket. Now i can attach my larger 500mm lens without getting an error message along with great autofocus. Glad i sent camera in for repair. Thanks Sony for a wonderful job well done.
Also what software are you going to be using for you photo and video editing? Again what software are you going to use for burning cds or dvds?
Go with a 850 watt power supply. 750 is to small. Like wiring your house to four breakers when ten is better.
That qas a great article. I had a GeForce video card. He forgot to mention about a DVD player/burner. The faster the video card along with more memory the better the video play back. The faster the burner is shorter the time it takes to burn a dvd or cd. The what are your going to use for burning software. I use Roxio. Easy to use right from the start. Now what software are you going to use for video editing? I use Pinnacle20. This is the latest in video editing software. It does a great job in a short time.
