I had a C5-C6 fusion via minimally invasive micro surgery about three years ago. When I woke up in the recovery room was the first time I had been without pain in over a year. I needed no recovery time beyond wearing a foam neck brace for a week or so and doing some neck exercises to make sure I regained flexibility. I have a very slight loss of some range of head turning, but it does not impede any activities. Since then I have experienced no more neck and shoulder pain. Hope your surgery goes as well.
Pilots need not worry about the age or metal fatigue. The B-52s were built to last and have been renovated to install modern navigation systems, radar, electronic jamming and other protection systems. The metal fatigue and systems wear is taken care of in periodic depot maintenance, which tears down the plane to inspect and replace anything worn that matters to safety of flight, including the frame and skin. But they are fuel hogs, and are expensive to fly and maintain at the level required.
You should have a show of your body of work! Very striking images.
I believe it is a military compass. The square plate at the bottom appears to be graduated for precisely plotting or obtaining the grid coordinates of a position on a map.
I like number 2 a lot. Maybe could use a tiny bit of sharpness on the white feather edge
Marvelous captures! Really beautiful.
Well composed, beautiful sight!
Number 3 for the best composition.
Very appealing and professional. I would buy it!
You got me with the title! Nice photo.
Magnificent Organ and cathedral. I'm curious about the ceiling though. Are those gray strips boards, stone, or slate? Wonder how they are held up since they are too short to span between visible supports.
The article says "The world's biggest tree is still the nearby General Sherman with about 2,000 cubic feet more volume than the President."
That's a great picture and one I wish I had taken when I was there. Thanks for sharing!
