Creative simon: The comment I get is how many more pictures do you have to take of the same scene? Also we’ve seen enough flower gardens for now. Thanks for the compliments. I usually don’t know exactly where I am going with an abstract as most of mine are adaptations of pictures through software. My challenge is learning new adaptations through edits in software. The software Gods have blessed me this last week and allowed some very different edits from what I was doing. Topped off is quite the image!! Your sliding away came up with some of the same muted colors I got on an image last night. Interesting??

Laskalass: FatRosie is a good looking cat. Of course to me almost all of them are good looking. You did a nice edit on the cat as well as the tree later on.

Clasina46: You are really getting into the swing of this thread with a very nice post today. I like the title.

Tooth Maker: I am glad you had time to make a very interesting image.

Pgl: Pam your post is beautiful!! Thanks for all your comments on the posts. They are very much appreciated. I am glad you took your camera and hope you got some great images. Liquid color is great!

JENNIFER: I am glad you are back and posting so I can go on vacation. I am hoping that you will fill in for me. We will be gone from the 16th to the 27th. I wish Christopher a Happy Birthday! Sorry I haven’t found any more good cartoons for him. You have a good looking son! I like the birthday picture. It looks like they are having a good time. I like your Star Ball presentation and in the Pink!

Country’s Mama: Yes the years do fly fast. We’re going to Florida next week to see my Grandson who is in college. I remember pushing him in a stroller only a few years ago.

William: Thank you, yes I am happy. I am glad that you and all the others are having fun on this post and growing in art appreciation in the process. I like your posts today especially the old pump. I remember those from my youth. Nice post on p 104!

Bb gun: I like your posts today. I am guessing but are those the badlands east of Calgary near Drumheller—I think. I was there once about 20 years ago and went through the dinosaur museum. If it is that is an amazing place—one goes from flat prairie to a deep canyon in the blink of an eye—lush green vegetation on top to bare eroded earth below. I like the colors on the last two.

RiverNan: I am glad to see you commenting here and I enjoy your prose!

Cyan: I agree with you on 100 as that image has enough things going on that one could conjure up all kinds of images from it.
You do have to have a vivid imagination to get them identified.

Hoku: I am so glad to see you back and over the flu. You must have had a really bad case. I love the first picture in your post—very cute. Of course I am partial to puppies and cats. The third image is very impressive also. We will look forward to your posts now that you are well.

Swede - I love the 2nd one---it looks like metal (and I won't mention the faces!).

Cyan: I’m glad you enjoyed the images. This was one of the few times that I saw what was in the images before I posted them. I would not want to meet up with the dragon! I love your post. It is very well done! Thank you for breaking the 100 barrier even if you did post twice.

Creative simon: Thanks for the compliments—this was a first that you liked all four of them. Sorry, I am retired so I don’t have to live by a time schedule. When I was working, I was early to bed—early to rise. Your first post on 99 is interesting; however I much prefer the Docking in Space!

Tooth Maker: Thanks for the compliments. Origins of life is a great post—you have to download it to appreciate it.

RiverNan: You must giggle easily—I must try to do it again. In your answer to Simon—I don’t understand some of the postings and in some cases wonder what they mean. That is the greatness of art especially abstracts in that not all of us can understand what they are. We just appreciate them for someone taking the effort and courage to create them.

Country’s Mama: It’s good to see you have found us again.

Pgl: Thanks for letting me know you were off. I always wonder when a steady disappears and doesn't let us know. Eventually I check up on them. Thanks for the compliments. Its good to see you back and commenting and posting. I hope you didn't embarrass your sister too much. The feathers turned out very well.

Bb gun: Your posts today are nice even if you did have to hit the library. As usual they are unique and well executed.

RMM: Nice set of abstracts today! It appears you are getting more hooked on the thread. I am glad to see you post more.

I want to congratulate all of you--we made 100 pages in less than a month. Great going!!

Swede - all of your posts on pg 100 are great & very colorful. The first one has in the lower left corner what looks like a Blue Meanie.....with a horrible look on his face! Then there's one in the center-right that looks like an insect face with human eyes! If I keep on looking, I'll see many more. I see many faces in #3 and many eyes in #4.

Nice design and color!

Some of your finest of works it really can get the
imagination to play tricks ... took a while to get it.

I think of a scene from "The Shining" where the
elevator doors open and a blood wave falls. BVVV

#2 is my pick

Thank you for the compliment. I can see where you can draw that i your imagination. There is a lot going on in that image. Your post above is interesting. Here's another almost red one for you to decifer.

Swede - this one is great! Wonderful design around a tunnel? Or looking down into something?
quote=llindstrand quote=William quote=llindstra... (show quote)

I decided to try Gimp and see what I could do with it. It does a wonderful job of making something look dimensional. The final image is a combination of KPT, Gimp spinning globe, Corel circular and Photoshop to put them together. The result is as you saw looking into a tunnel or opening a door inward. I've tried a number of edits and some turn out that way and others look like the globe is on the surface. One of those interesting things that result in editing. The one below looks like the globe is on the surface.

Swede - this is fabulous! I use Photosop Elements 10 sometimes but mostly I use Gimp but I could never get anything like you did! It's probably because of the other programs that you use.
