Hi Vinnie, I also use a variety of programs . Corel X5, Smart Photo Editor, Gimp, Photo Impact 12. Sometimes I set up and shoot with an idea in mind. Sometimes things take on their own life.- I really like your last one. :thumbup:

Creative simon: The comment I get is how many more pictures do you have to take of the same scene? Also we’ve seen enough flower gardens for now. Thanks for the compliments. I usually don’t know exactly where I am going with an abstract as most of mine are adaptations of pictures through software. My challenge is learning new adaptations through edits in software. The software Gods have blessed me this last week and allowed some very different edits from what I was doing. Topped off is quite the image!! Your sliding away came up with some of the same muted colors I got on an image last night. Interesting??

Laskalass: FatRosie is a good looking cat. Of course to me almost all of them are good looking. You did a nice edit on the cat as well as the tree later on.

Bb gun: I like your posts today. I am guessing but are those the badlands east of Calgary near Drumheller—I think. I was there once about 20 years ago and went through the dinosaur museum. If it is that is an amazing place—one goes from flat prairie to a deep canyon in the blink of an eye—lush green vegetation on top to bare eroded earth below. I like the colors on the last two.

Cyan: I agree with you on 100 as that image has enough things going on that one could conjure up all kinds of images from it.
You do have to have a vivid imagination to get them identified.

Hoku: I am so glad to see you back and over the flu. You must have had a really bad case. I love the first picture in your post—very cute. Of course I am partial to puppies and cats. The third image is very impressive also. We will look forward to your posts now that you are well.
