Thanks for your comments Jen, like your flower post today...nice...have a safe trip... :)
Cyan had a little time to play & here is what I came up with from your photo of wall & it took my mind off rain for a little bit..:)
WOW Pam! I would never have thought of that!
OK....I did smudge the edges more but to me it still looks like a brain on a Japanese flag.

Cyan...I thought he was cute too! what is your post..Light fixture?
Yes, it was a red light over a door (!). I thought I could do something with it. And now I did some more work on it...but I feel it needs something in the red square.
When I look at this I see a brain or a heart sat on a blood drenched cloth, all I would do is maybe fade the edge of the red square to take the sharpness away, good work cyan you would never guess now it was a light

I did smudge the red stripes a bit (to blend them) but I guess it wasn't enough....I'll try your suggestion, Simon.
William - your post on pg 137 (1st one) looks like someone is peeking thru plants in a field. The 2nd post looks like the same field, but thru an aqaurian.
Yes, Simon....good idea to try a globe on one or more. And all the posts on 138 are great!
Andrew-Another dimension is good!
William - so my veggies aren't the only ones that grow!
Nan - very good! It seems to fit.
Another one from tonight...
I saw this wall in my town the other day...should I try something?
Or anyone can try....

These were done in Gimp, where I wanted to fool around with the filters. Good luck on finding the cat in these two!
Here, Kitty, Kitty!
The 2nd one is pretty obvious but in the 1st one I see parts of cats everywhere. Fract-cats?
You can see a cat in the second one??? To be honest, it looks more like a fish to me! :)
"Fract-cats," I like that. Yes, there's a fractal filter in Gimp, which I think works in very nice fashion. It would be nice if a filter like that was in Photoshop. But at least I know where to go know when I'm after that effect.

RMM - there's 2 fratctal filters in gimp (I use gimp most of the time)....but I can only get 1 of the fractal filters to work.
Yes,it does kind of look like a fish....but if you draw (with your eyes) a diagonal line to the bottom-left corner, you (I) can see a cat there also.

well we are having miserable and ultra weird weather... temps in the late 30's and right now 47.....normally this time of year it is below zero! We are having rain...which melts the loose snow off of the roads and walkways but leaves the hard packed ice underneath and makes walking treacherous! In fact we never call off school for snow since our buses are equipped with snow chains that come over the tires automatically...the driver doesnt even have to leave the bus..just push a button...but ice? thats a different story so schools are cancelled today!

Hi Swede, Thanks for your comments. As for #4, it's very angry looking, completely different from your usual work.
Maybe that's just the way that I see it.

You are right. I didn't look at it that way--I just was using a means to something new and didn't look at what I created. This is not the first time. Thanks for mentioning it--I'll have to watch as either you or Cyan will get me. I post another I worked on tonight.

Swede - Both your posts on pg 134 are great! They are both very different from anything you did be4. The 1st one is beautiful! I just don't know what to say. It looks like it could be used in a travel brochure to sell a location. And I love the way the leaves are right up against the rose in the 2nd one!
