It rained all day yesterday & still raining today...so I won't be taking any pics but I have these I will post. They are not really good shots....but I wanted to share them with all of you. Friday night Kim, Cheyenne & I went to Graceville (a small town near my home) for Cheyenne's dance competition and on the way home Kim pointed out this "drive through" convenience store to me. Well, I have never in my long legged life heard of a "drive through convenience store" .....was not aware there was any such thing. So, in UHH fashion....I quickly did a u-turn to "capture" it for the HOG. Kim is like, "Mama, what are you doing?" And I'm..."I'm gonna get a picture...I've never seen one before." And Kim says, "OMG, mama, you have got to be kidding me...you can't just pull up there & take pictures." And I say, "Well, I don't see why not. I don't see what that'll hurt", as I ask Cheyenne to hand me my camera (always on hand) from the back seat. Kim, needless to say is mortified...as I stop to take my first shot....while Cheyenne (in the back seat) is dying laughing at her mom. I pull on around to get a view of the inside of the store...they had a customer inside being waited on & I got my 2nd shot. By this time Kim is slumped down in her seat....saying...."OMG, Mama, you are gonna get us killed....what if this is a drug deal...you can't just sit here & take pictures....OMG, Mama, what are you thinking." And Cheyenne & I are laughing and Cheyenne insists she wants us to drive through & buy something. So being a good grandmother....I do as my grandchild wants to do....not what my daughter thinks is best....Chey & I are having a great time at Kim's expense. Inside I got my 3rd shot. Oh, my they have everything....pizza, sandwiches, fountain drinks....you name it .... they had it...and they brought it to you   Naturally, Kim didn't want anything but Chey & I ordered fountain Pepsi....which the owner brought to us (as I took his picture as Kim kept saying, " OMG, Mama, you can't take his picture...put that camera up....I can't believe you are doing this." I told her the man didn't mind & even asked him if it was okay...which to my dismay embarrassed my daughter even further!!! (I can't win with that girl....lol ) I must say this little adventure was a lot more fun to me and Chey than it was to Kim....(she needs to lighten up a little)
Anyway, the owner didn't mind having his picture taken...so the last two shots are of him. One bringing us our drinks and the other bringing our change!!! It was a wonderful time had by MOST!! Oh, btw, Cheyenne (individually) and her group got "Superior" marks on their dances!
It rained all day yesterday & still raining to... (

p7 Frankie, I love this story! I haven't heard of a drive through convenience store either. Would likely go over well up here! Too funny! My husband would be the one rolling his eyes and being a "Kim".
