Its a really good idea but will possibly meander its way into drossville like many of the specialized forums here. To counter this the people running it would have to actively discourage the false friendships that occur on here very regularly it seems. We need straight honest appraisal of posts without the gushing praise that is always accorded to someones posts in return for the same back. In that type of false situation learning is impossible. Just an observation and opinion reached after viewing the site for some time.

Good effort but why is the reflection not continued into the right hand lens? The stark black cut off point is not working here.

I would guess this is a crop from a bigger image? The eyes whilst striking are probably a little too stark white for realism. If the photograph is cropped so that only the top of the garlic shows the fact that it is out of focus is not so apparent and causes less distraction allowing ones eye to rest on the man.
Just my ideas on an excellent capture. No idea about your health issues but wish you a full and speedy recovery.

is it too dark or number of windows really depends on what you are trying to say. The title of "I remember when" fails to make this clear. As an image to me its fine with two windows and left at that would be an intriguing photograph. The overlarge face and use of selective coloring makes it almost cartoonish. Perhaps this was what you wanted but the original image is strong enough on its own without transforming it into a a Halloween type picture.
One dark window and one with a view through the building and a nice reflection would make a good shot that would leave viewers to reach their own conclusion about intent.

I have to say nope sorry you did not achieve your goal. You complicated a simple task. Back to the drawing board for you!

Osiris revisited, I presume. I'm not sorry, because I'm not Catholic. I am considered by some to be a dirt loving, sun worshiping, tree hugging, humanist that loves a metaphor of the psyche. The king is dead. Long live the king. Was it Elvis or Jesus? You know they kind of look the same.

JC was a fish and loaves sorta guy and possibly not into burgers, peanut butter and jello sandwiches, like Elvis. Also sermon giving in a rhinestone suit and blue suede shoes stretches the imagination too far.
The photograph - powerful image nice pp but needs straightening.

Hmmm...I rather liked the warmth clashing with the composition, which fortified an innocent person having nasty-sharp shadows falling around and over him. I think you are going for more POW. Go ahead and change it.

Actually BW did not really work but tried a few other things and came up with this. Very different to your original but a good image to play with

I see what caught your eye but not convinced its strong enough to make either an image or a piece of art. Would a black and white conversion and adding a texture help? May help the mystery and take away the blandness somewhat.

The bright white face seems to be the thing that will divide opinion on this. On one hand its makes for compelling viewing but then also reveals it as an obvious composite. Not sure which I would prefer but overall a fine piece.

Captivating image that demands close inspection. Showing the original would be very interesting in this case.

I had a feeling behind all those filters there was a good shot worth showing. Very nice indeed.

Try an adjustment using levels but use it on an image from the Channels palette. The blue channel is often best for this. Move the sliders until the treeline is clear and precise and use that image to make a mask. Youtube will have tutorials about making masks in this way.

Heavy sepia toning is just about guaranteed to divide opinion so if you like it then go with it. I would like to see the original because the building looks its age by virtue of its architecture and was obviously an imposing pile of bricks in its hey day and looks as if it would make an impressive address for a yuppie apartment today, so for me it really does not need what appears as an overuse of filters. Blue sky rustic brick work and green grass would tell the story.
