Second from end (red Camero) is the original Z/28 with the high compression (11 to 1) 302 cid engine. I had one, very fast. The one in the photo is a '69.

Thanks very much for the info, Ken!! Beautiful car and the sound of the engine was one of the most satisfying sounds ever! It seemed like it went 0-60 in a split second so I only managed to snap 2 photos before it was long gone! lol

Great selection nicely photographed. No. 2 is a Meteor made by Ford only for the Canadian Market, I have never seen one here in the US.

Thank you very much, blacks2!! The info regarding the Meteor was greatly appreciated and very interesting!

These are excellent shots, Seco. That's a nice lens too. I also have a Canon 10-18mm and I love it.

Thanks very much, Tom!! I think I'm going to get a lot of use out of this lens!

...but there were some OK cars there Thought I'd try out my new Canon 10-18mm lens at a local car show this past weekend. I had read in different forums that this focal range wasn't ideal for car shows and would result in some distortion in close-up shots, but I was eager to try it out so off I went. There were definitely lots of beautiful cars to photograph and, surprisingly, not a lot of people wandering about so I was able to take my time and get shots from all sorts of angles. My favourite part of the day was after the awards ceremony when many of the cars started to leave. It gave me a chance to try out something I've wanted to do for a while, and that's panning. Many turned out blurry...really blurry! lol But some weren't too bad, in my humble opinion. I used Nik Color Efex Pro4 for most of the processing. I really enjoyed experimenting with the different pre-sets and then fine tuning them to my liking. And I kind of liked the exaggerated views the lens produced in some of the photos. I didn't see any cars that made me want to upgrade from my current ride, but it was still a good day lol

P.S. I have very little, almost minuscule, knowledge of cars so my apologies for not knowing what make these beautiful automobiles are. If anyone would care to identify any or all, it would be greatly appreciated :)

I've had mine since last November - it's been on my D7500 most of that time except when I've needed a lens to do something specialized. I'm happy with its reach and have had no complaints about image quality, even when an image has been rather severely cropped and it's been used in all sorts of situations - landscape, night shots, and portraiture.

Nice shot! A lot of commotion over this bird the past week or so...one was spotted and photographed for a few days in Rondeau PP on the north shore of Lake Erie in Southwestern Ontario. Apparently it's way out of its usual range!

I love this lens! I'm fairly new to photography and it suits my needs well. My wife and I do a lot of hiking so I feel the Tamron provides us the confidence and preparedness for any photo op we come across. I found myself switching too often between the 18-55 and 70-300 kit lenses that came with the camera when we were out on the trails...resulting in a couple of close calls of dropping the lens in my haste to change it up to get the photo! lol I find the image quality exceptional, the auto focus reliable and it's not too heavy to carry around all day. The zoom range is what attracted me to this lens and it's the one on my camera 90% of the time. And the price was unbeatable for a lens with this versatility, in my opinion. I did find the zooming to be a little stiff at first and from what I've read, this is not an uncommon problem with the barrel. But it has since loosened up to the point the action is nice and smooth. I think this is a great option for those who are looking for an everyday lens that will allow them to photograph all sorts of things, whether you are near or far from the action.
