Thanks! That was an absolutely beautiful day in Denali. We even had some snow at one point.

One can become absolutely awed by the photo opportunities in Alaska. You can barely turn a corner without another beautiful or awesome sight popping up.

Thank you for the photos and the insight into making my visit better. Anymore hints or clues are welcomed.

Have a great Thanksgiving!!!!

Some photos taken with my wife's Kodak Z981 in Aug 11, as my camera did not make it onto the plane for the trip.

If you would like to see about 20 minutes of fun, if not great, video on the wolf and bears saga, I have them uploaded on youtube. Just do a youtube search for gepaza66 and view them in order from 1 to 4.

That picture with the rainbow is amazing!!!! I really love it.

I was lucky enough to spend last summer in Craig, Alaska. I love to take photos and am just learning how to use my camera so please be kind...never shared photos before. If this does not come through correctly, I apologize up front.

Thank you sherbear, I enjoyed looking at your pictures. I, like you, am not a professional photographer, but am a person who loves photography. I am not interested in trying to make money from my photos. Instead I want to priceless joy of capturing memories. I would love to view more of your photos, and feel free to look up the ones I've posted.

Thank you, I realized that right after I hit the send button. I appreciate your prompt reply. Since I have your attention, is there a way to delete a topic completely AFTER sending it. I tried to delete the text within my topic so I could delete the entire message, but I got an error message saying "no text".

Wow, you got really close. Were you on a cruise ship? On my picture of the Hubbard Glacier, I a 200mm lens on and it still looks like it's 50 miles away.

Here are some of mine, from this past summer. There are some unique one's here.

Beautiful!!!

Just went in August (when it was 116 here in OK)! We didn't cruise - just flew there last minute and had the most INCREDIBLE vacation ever! We found this website alaska.org - tons of videos on excursions you can take. We booked thru Alaska.com - we told them kinda what we wanted to do, they had a complete 7-day itenerary planned in 15 minutes (this was on a Saturday) The following Tuesday we were on a flight to Anchorage to begin our trip. We traveled by train, boat bus and bush plane, and did everything from Denali Park (all day) to whitewater rafting. Would go back in a heartbeat!

OMG concretelady88, your pictures excite me! I cannot believe the bear picture. I will be on a cruise, so I won't be able to do Denali this time, but who knows, maybe I can do a land trip next time. Thank you very much for your reply, and feel free to contact me (that's a hint to post more pictures, lol).
