This is one of my best shots. I took it at a beach here in the panhandle of Florida. I followed this guy for over half and hour before I got this shot.
Matthew, Great picture with good color saturation , yet not overbearing. The pine tree gives good foreground interest without taking away from your main subject. I Like It! Bill

Thank you. You are right, it is not always the camera that matters. I used to have a really old canon powershot S2IS. I took some great shots with it, even though it was an old point and shoot.
Stunning picture Matthew. I have the same camera + Nikkor 18-300mm lens. Didn't realise you could take such pictures with this entry level DSLR. I've made a note of the settings to try them out. I'm doing a course at the moment and soon we will be learning about night photography. I'm going to the Atacama desert in a few months time and your photo has really encouraged me. Thank you Grace
