I'm playing with this right now, just to see what are the results. I can see maybe using this for my own use. But not for a client, but this is just my opinion, but it does offer some interesting options.

No it seems normal to me, just have to get used to it, but it will change another option for compensation to what you did.
I have Luminar 4 and I love it. it is easy to understand and comes with a load of helpful video's.

I have 3 versions on my laptop, Luminar 2018, Luminar 3 & 4 I am still processing if version 4 is an improvement. It is completely upgraded and somewhat different.
Click on the single window, there is a good chance your window isn't actually open to the fullest, it happen on my google chrome also

I remove them, always. I have watched other items get ruined by leaving batteries in too long. Remove them if you will not use.
Since you have Mirrorless already, why not move up to the M6 MK2 or EOS RP

I have the M50 w/15-45 lens and the kit lens is excellent. I have used other lenses, but I have no problem using the 15-45 and it does excellent video.
