First and foremost, it is natural to get angry and frustrated by injustice. Human nature has a keen desire for justice. Our emotions are not the problem. It is what we do with them. And yes, that may be what Pastor Weaver is trying to say; but he goes on to denounce a major conservative concept to which even Star Parker subscribes: the government and media have too much control over our lives.
In the end, I am left with the vague feeling that Pastor Weaver is saying the kid got what was coming to him and brutal police treatment is the fault of the victims.
