Good catch Merry. He looks satisfied, but broke out in some kind of hives.
Chuck, You got this way under exposed to show off the colors. I did a quick levels adjustment, that brought the colors out, but then there is too much noise. Try again. I use Aperture priority most all the time, because metering, adjusting just takes too long for birds.
Getting detail in a black object is difficult, but you did very well here. Of course a lot depends on the monitor's gamut. Good work Ron.
