Lovely photograph, great poses lots of smiles. But for me it is lacking in contrast I think it could use a little pop... Also the background is too busy. I know you have to take what you can get in this circumstances. But hey, you asked :-)

Bob

Hi Bob. Thank you very much for that.

Two thoughts. #1 the B&W is nice, but the colors are a big part of a festival like that. I’d like to see that in color. #2. I don’t think they call it an “Indie” festival. An indie festival is a film or music festival that promotes independent artists. Some might take great offense to using “Indie” as a cultural reference.

Hello Superfly. Thank you very much. I also think the color would be better but I am just playing with things to start in black and white. As far as "Indie" goes, I am just going by what the sign said.

We were at a Indie Festival in Victoria and these 4 lovely women were very happy to pose for this picture. I am just starting to get into black and white and any help or criticism would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

A friend of mine has a Robins nest on her security light in her carport. There are four little ones that are just about ready to go.

Wow!! I know my hummers have nests around here, but our trees are so big (75+ year old willow oaks) that I've never been able to find one. They are late returning this year to inland NC-I just saw one Saturday for the first time this year! Awesome shot!

Hi Gigi. They don't nest high in trees. Thank you very much.

I was at the marsh and found a Red-wing Blackbird nest with 4 babies in it. I went back two days later and they were gone. Someone said the Crows got them all. Sometimes Mother Nature is cruel.
