There is lots of information on the internet about 5DIV AF settings for action photography. I would suggest going to YouTube and search for Canon 5dIV autofocus setting for action photography. I'm sure there is a bunch of information about settings. What I always was confused about were the case settings, but if you figure that out, it will be quite helpful. Good luck. As I said, this camera is really good for the right applications. Just not sure fast moving birds is one of them, but it can be done. And Canon's 600 f/4 is a gem and works great with a 1.4x converter. Good luck and have fun.

Thanks, Nalu. I'll do some more searching for info on the settings. The case settings get confusing for me, too. I do enjoy the challenge, though!
