People are on the no-fly list for a variety of reasons and there are many screw-ups by the government as to who is on the list. A friend of mine, who works for a US Congressman, was set to leave from LAX on vacation with his wife and three year old daughter. The daughter was on the no-fly list. There are 20,000 anti-gun laws in America. A person can make the no-fly list without ever having a criminal conviction. When these asshole Muslims come gunning for college students, and they will, maybe the students can run to the college's "safe-space" and their leftist professors can protect them. The two Muslim animals in San Bernardino were packing semi-automatic rifles, not assault weapons nor automatic weapons.

The M16 and AR15 fire the .223 round. The reason the round is so small is that the military wanted to keep the ammo lighter than that used by the M14 which fires a NATO round the 7.62. The Geneva Convention has rules which say that weapons used in warfare must be larger than .22 cal because they reckon it is less cruel to kill an opposing soldier than it is to wound him or her.

Looks like I was correct yesterday in my prognostication that the murderers in San Bernardino were Muslims. It will be interesting to see how the left spins the story. Many lefties have already called for more gun control. California already has some of the nation's most Draconian ant-gun laws.

Of course the left is also claiming that the two Muslims used assault weapons.The media and the left would not know an assault weapon from deep center field. If the rifle is a single shot, semi-automatic look-a-like for an M16, it is not an assault weapon. Last time I looked, an assault weapon must have a few things that an AR15 does not have. Assault weapons have bayonet lugs, they have a switch to change the firing mode from semi to full auto.

Let's wait and see how Obama and Hillary spin the story so the blame falls on the NRA and or legal gun owners.
