This equatorial telescope mount is used to track the movement of the sky (compensate for the rotation of the earth). Instead of the telescope just the camera with lens was mounted.
There are less expensive option for cameras here are two that I am aware of. I have never used them and am not recommending them.

The Andromeda galaxy in the middle of the picture is in the exploded view. This is a single 548 second exposure, ISO 100 F1.4. The red and green lines are from a jet flying through the frame. A portion of the Milky Way is in the bottom of the frame.

The canon 5D markIV is a nice camera. Full frame cameras require full frame lenses two good ones are canon's EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM and Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM Lens.
