I think Liberals are deluding themselves over this Russian Collusion business. There are plenty of real things over which to criticize or impugn Trump, but this is not one of them. The story holds some kind of romantic spy-thriller allure, it represents the ultimate "dramatic catastrophic downfall" of the President.

All you have to do to find out the truth is know that Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein, who sits on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, has said repeatedly that she has not seen any evidence that Trump colluded with Russia.

For six months we heard the news media bombard us with stories telling us over and over again that the FBI was investigating Donald Trump about Russian Collusion, and that there was cold-hard evidence. Then finally, James Comey testified in front of Congress and said "no, there was no investigation of Trump at all." Despite this, the conspiracy theorists just won't let the thing die. The only reason Trump's own Justice Department appointed a special prosecutor was to finally shut up the incompetent press who had been lying over and over for six months.

A lot of people are going to be disappointed when this special prosecution is over.

And if the Special Prosecution ends and Mueller announces that there is no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, will Liberals accept it??

I can see it all now. Liberals will be crying that the prosecution was rigged and corrupted by Russia itself. A day of outrage screaming will be called for. Snowflakes will call for a hunger strike to begin and end the same day. Liberal groups will have their pick of hundreds of competing conspiracy theories to fit their pet narrative. Trump will be blamed for all of the sexual harassment cases of the past 30 years. The Mainstream Press will immediately denounce Mueller and claim that he was funded by the Koch Brothers. The Press will declare the end of Western Civilization. Oh, the Humanity!!

nakkh - the core supporters of Trump will never accept any negative finding regardless of evidence presented. His suspicious manuvering: potential obstruction of justice, openly requesting Russia’s support (ie - “Russia, if you’re listening find crooked Hiliary’s lost email), silently accepting Russia’s efforts in his disinformation campaign, closed door very private meetings in the White House etc etc. are actions under review.

Indicted on any of them will cause his rabid supporters here to deny, see conspiracy by the “establishment”, claim he was victimized by lying news media publishing fake news, and possibly call for civil disobediece (we’ve already seen thinly veiled threats by some of these rabid supporters.)

The US is in trouble. The evil genie is out of the lamp; it will be very difficult to undo the damage this orange manic is already causing.

The problem with you on the Left, well one out of many, is you are not stupid but you refuse to believe that which is in front of your nose. Even James Comey admitted on national television (surely you saw it) that Hillary HAD violated the law in so much as transmitting secret documents and deleting emails. He said she had violated the law yet that is acceptable to you. When Bill Clinton was accused of rape that was acceptable to you on the Left. When Hillary and President Obama lied about Benghazi to protect Muslims as well as their own asses it was acceptable to you and from your lack of comments, still is. Hillary Cheated during the primaries and cheated Bernie Sanders out of his rightful place in the election. You must be aware this is not just speculation by me but absolute truth. Yet most on the Left are literally howling at the sky demanding Trump be removed from office. Sorry but the truth is Liberalism DOES border on the insane.
