Star Bucks Coffee.... I asked for a small coffee and was 'scolded' and was told "they have "Grande", and if I wanted a 'small' coffee, I should go next door". I turned around and went next door never to return again.

I keep getting ads for the new GoPro, with the price marked down to $399.98, a reduction of $260. The reviews are great, but I hardly use the GoPros I have now. There are too many settings but only two button that do everything. Unless I use it all the time, I can't possibly remember the combination of button pushing to do what I want. If I were involved in some kind of "action" lifestyle, I would use it more, but I have to search for excuses to use it.

Do any of you use a GoPro on a regular basis?

I have a GoPro Hero 4 Black and rarely used it since unless I used the app, I had no idea what I was videoing.
I went with DJI Action Camera which has the whole back as a screen, and by touching the screen, it transfers to the front small screen for selfie videos. The older GoPro's had to be held steady or it made it hard to watch the video due to jumping around When DJI came out with the Action Camera, GoPro sales dropped. They had to catch up fast. DJI has Rock Steady....and it makes for a rock steady video.
Here is a link to the Action Cam:

From what I've read about this substance, it is not meant for humans. You may wish to consider consulting the statements of informed medical experts on this subject.

Not true. It is an FDA approved drug for humans. Just not the amount that a Vet would give a horse like what you hear on the news. I did some research and quit listening to the main stream media.

In all my years of travel both in the US and elsewhere i have never had a problem. This year I'm going to South Africa for a 15day photography safari . I checked out the cost of insurance for the trip. (about $700) the trip overall cost is about $6000.
I'm in good health just old 86 years. Will be in the bush most of the time.
Question is .........what to do?

I would ABSOLUTELY buy the insurance. We live in Illinois and winter in Florida each year in a rented condo...same one each year. I always buy the insurance and have used it once. Only delayed a week, but the week was covered and was worth it.
Too many problems can occur. We had a friend that was on a cruise, had a heart attack. Had to be helo'd off the ship and stayed in a foreign hospital a week. Thousands of dollars. Thank goodness he had trip insurance.
One thing you want to check on; most will not cover in case of War or a Pandemic. So Covid delay might not be covered.
Good luck and enjoy your trip.

I email phone photos to myself, open them on my PC, then upload into Picasa program. I can do what I want from there.

If Rad Alt; (Radar Altimeter) is scrambled, it will not cause crashes. Rad Alt is used to determine height over what is directly under the aircraft. Regular altimeters determine the altitude according to barometric pressure. That is what all aircraft use to determine how high they are flying. Very few civilian aircraft have Rad Alt....mainly military aircraft for close air support.

Amazon has launched their delivery fleet in my area. In the last month all of my Amazon deliveries have been delivered by Amazon's own trucks. What is amazing is that I tracked 2 separate packages leaving their Sacramento hub at 8pm and being on my front porch by 12 pm next day. BTW I'm in NYC. USPS, UPS and Fedx can't be happy about this. Their NYC hub is in Staten Island.

Those trucks have been around for a while. They will be replaced by Rivian all electric delivery vans. Rivian is a new company here in Normal, IL that has the initial Amazon order for 100 trucks, along with building electric SUV's, and pickup trucks. Their first SUV rolled off the assembly line this week. The only electric facility with 3 vehicles being produced on 3 separate assembly lines.
Here is their website:
