Small cars are ok, IF you're a small person. BUT, I don't fit in them well. Driving a small car for any distance, you feel like you ran there instead of driving. I'll stick with my Chevy trucks thank you. I never bought a vehicle for the great milage, I buy them according to how they fit me.
You mean "NO" Pho King way???
Ya know, we could back to talking politics...
Both of my parents came from Norway, became citizens and learned English. At the dinner table though, when discussing us kids they would slip mid sentence to Norwegian and dad would use some heavy duty words we knew to mean he was pissed! Sixty years later I still find myself using them. I never asked him what he meant, didn't need to...
I've had the 17-50mm 2.8 with IS for about six years now and love it. It's not fast auto focusing as my Canon 24-105mm L but close. The IS works great and you can get in real close to your subject. Here's Bosco telling me her thoughts about photography.
Remember to vote early and often!
I've been fishing with the same boat for 30 years, buying the best tackle, fishing where the big boys catch the 'big ones' and still end up with Bluegills and Perch. Bought a fish finder and could see all the fish that I wasn't catching. So this summer I traded it all in for a new 17 ft. with a 30 HP motor, bow mount trolling motor and a big screen fish finder with GPS. It's got cupholders, comfy seats, tons of storage and a livewell. I'd be lying if I said the 5 pound Bass and Muskies are now jumping in the boat, but the wife knows me better.
I'm doing a little better now and the new boat is bigger and more comfortable. We're enjoying it much more than the old Jon boat as we can now go out on the big lakes and cruise around and not get swamped by the bigger boats. The point is bigger and better doesn't always improve your abilities, but at least you feel like you have.
I didn't follow the prose as you wrote it, but after reading it out loud, I got it. A thousand pardons as poetry sometimes falls on deaf eyes. By the way, I like the second one.
I miss Nedick's. Best doughnuts around!
And let's not forget Double Trouble State Park a little southwest of Seaside Heights, NJ...
New Jersey has replaced most of the traffic circles with lights. I used to work on the Bayway circle in Elizabeth forty years ago and the daily accidents were always entertaining.
The DNC involved in dirty tricks? Say it ain't so Hillary! You'd never resort to underhanded stuff like that. NOT!!! I'll be so happy when this election is behind us and we get back to sharing funny jokes again.
