I have both the T2i and EX600-RT and I can assure you, they will mate without issue. Just make sure the lever at the bottom of the speedlight is to the far left. I suspect you have the lever in a lock or partial lock position. It won't slide into the hot shoe otherwise. There should be a small gap in between the plate and the body of the speedlight in the unlocked position. Once it's locked the plate is pulled towards the body of the speedlight.

Had some trouble attaching pic
No, you need to attach the image from the memory card and not a screenshot from the back of the LCD. Most of the EXIF data will not be displayed from your screenshot. Make sure during the attachment you choose original. This will preserve the EXIF data.
You could also take two images one with glasses worn and one without and use photoshop to blend the two images. The downside is, it requires the subject(s) to remain frozen in both shots in the same place to make the blend the least painstaking during the blend.
It all else fails, you can try a factory reset.
Press the down arrow several times till the LCD turns on : See if you can do a reset all through your setting menu at that point. If not remove your battery and hold the power switch on for at least 30 seconds then insert the battery and try again.
Those seem to be rechargable AA by the chart lookup in size. My mistake.
I think they're 18650's. I use them in a HID flashlight.

I am looking at renting a camera (Canon) body for a wedding my future niece wants me to shoot some pictures for her. The main reason for doing this is so I don't have to switch my lenses all the time. Looking for recommendations for the best sites to rent from. Thanks!
What lenses do you have at your disposal?
Likely another reason why you really aren't seeing any sale prices on a R5 or R6 let alone any refurbished.
Let me know if this helps. I don't advise the command prompt unless you are confident in the DOS layer.
To create a simple volume using the Windows interface:
In Disk Management, right-click the unallocated space on the dynamic disk on which you want to create the simple volume, and then click New Simple Volume. (Use the entire disk unless you want to partition the drive.)
In the New Volume Wizard, click Next, click Simple, and then follow the instructions on your screen.
It may ask you at the end to format. As I said previously, right click the storage drive and choose format using NTFS under file system.
If you're using a Windows 10 machine and assuming the storage drive is installed correctly, right click on your start button and choose "disk management". You should see your drive there. Right Click on the drive that isn't formatted (it should display it) and choose format. I'd recommend doing a quick format and ensure that NTFS is chosen for your file system. In less that a minute your drive should be ready.
You might look into the Color Checker Passport which has a feature called Dual Illuminant DNG which can handle 2 different white balances.
