It's a little expensive compared to the domestic mags, but a typical article probably contains 10X the number of words in, say, Popular Photography or Shutterbug. c't won't insult your intelligence, and you'll learn new things with every issue.
In second place, in my opinion, are most of the UK photo magazines. That includes, in no particular order,

So, what's your opinion? Do Pop Photo, Outdoor Photographer, and Shutterbug suck? If so, why? Are there some good US photo magazines? What's the best English language photo magazines in the world? Or, is print irrelevant, and you should stick to the internet for what's new?

I subscribe to DigitalCamera, N Photo, c't Photography all European products. The only American pub that is any good is Nature Photographer.
My 2 cents and it is time for the U.S. publishers to wake up.
