Thank you so much! I got it for less from Best Buy ($899.99) than a used one on eBay. It’ll be here on Friday, with free shipping.
Have fun with this great lens and please post some of your photos here. Best, chase
I have one and love it (not for sale). Good luck with your search and if/when you find one, buy it! That lens along with my Z 50mm 1.8S is my "go to kit" for my Z FX body. chase
A little bit of humor in the love story of my life. My love bunny and I had been both married before (to others)
and were best friends and talking about getting married. I was ready but she was a bit hesitant based on her previous marriage experience. So we're on a ski tip to Tahoe and it's Easter Sunday but all the ski areas/lifts are shut down due to blizzard conditions. Well, after several rounds of adult beverages at the local boozery, she said "OK, let's get married". We drove over to the NV side and found one of those delightful drive-in 24 hour wedding joints and went in. The guy at the front desk asked what we wanted and we replied to get married. He told us OK, but give him some time to "summon" the preacher. This guy shows up, dressed like some kinda clergyman but was bobbing and weaving and blinkin' like a toad in a hailstorm (we believe he was drunk , stoned or whatever). I'll spare you all the hilarious details but he did the wedding thing and then we were married. Then I asked him to take our picture with my little film Kodak camera. Please view the result attached the only photo from this memorable event. Still madly in love with my wife of 38 years. chase

First and foremost, Fern, the late great wonder dog wants to wish you all a happy, safe and healthy
Valentine's Day. And secondly, something to warm those of you that might be a bit chilly about now.
A beautiful, remote 4.5 acre island paradise in Fiji where we vacationed with our friends for many
years annually. A true paradise for diving, surfing, fishing or just kickin' back. Best, chase

First and foremost I'd like to thank the core group of dedicated folks that host these challenges and take the time and make the effort to respond to those that contribute to the challenges.
I thank you all for the nice comments on my occasional submissions to these challenges and my other postings on the UHH. As a guy well into his seventh decade and now primary caretaker for
others that are in palliative care, I don't have the time or computer skills to respond to each and every comment on the posts I make. All I can say is that the UHH and the great folks that post here provide an interesting, informative, educational and a welcome diversion from my routine.
My best to all UHH members and stay safe and well during these unusual and trying times.
