good subject to work  8-)
Thank You so much for your series of comments! I did have fun and so did the "kids"...
Hi All, I've been gone awhile. Kinda lost my drive in taking pics. Went out last Sunday to take some pics of my Sailor's girlfriend and a few of my daughter and her boyfriend. Also took some at the Graffeti Park in Austin, Texas.
I would definitely bring a tripod so you can get the night shots. During the day not really needed, but NOLA has some awesome photo op images at night...
I have been there three times and have found that my 18-105 (NIKON) lens is my preference. A wide angle would also be good to have.
I took both of these in 2013, one more thing, get day passes for the trolley, saves the feet and cheap but fun transportation around the Quarter, also go to the WWII Museum and City Park. Have fun!
Jackson Square at 11pm NOLA
Riverboat also around 11pm NOLA

While in Vietnam we really had a lot of time out on the streets with the people. So took a lot of street photos-something I had never done before and it was kind of fun
Another great set. I do believe you captured the spirit of that country!
When it first popped up my screen, I went wow, nice shot. Then I definitely noticed the sloping horizon. I know you stated the sand and sea balance each other, but the sea is running off the image because of the sloping horizon and is quite distracting. Otherwise, a great shot!
