A fine set, but #3 really does it for me.
I like Panoramas, especially for mountains.

The solution was to crop so that it was more of a portrait orientation. Ended up with a 3rd place. I'm pretty pleased with that. Thanks for the input.

Yes, that would work - and did.
I like this sort of image.
There's a lot of people seeing something I'm not. Need the colour one to 'explain' it to me, it just looks very busy to me.
Or he might say the tree is nicely positioned on the thirds, but I doubt it. I like it as art piece.
With RG on this one, #1 has a nice cool evening feel about it - but I'm enjoying #2 as well.
All good, but I'd like to see somewhere in between. The detail in the 200mm, but the width in the 70mm.
Perhaps the 70mm is my choice as it gives width, but doesn't include so much foreground.
I might try something similar with out less impressive Chiltern Hills later on in the year.
Very wintery feel, nice spot though.

I use an Optech strap on my cameras. I see no need to advertise what kind of camera I’m using to anyone interested in relieving me of it.
Likewise, not because of the advertising (that's a minor issue) - but because the supplied Canon straps feel so uncomfortable. Nikon ones don't look any better.

I'm not scared of it (well, maybe a little) but I'm scared of what it can do.
