I'm with Robin Poole on this one- these are freaking amazing photos!!! You must have one incredible camera to go up to those speeds. The clarity and sharpness are most impressive considering the speed and unpredictability of your subjects- and the lighting! An indoor arena? Are you kidding me?!?!!? SICK!~
I dont have the best camera out there I was using my 60D a 800$ cam with a good 70-200 2.8 Sigma lens that cost about 1300$
i wish i had a canon 1Dx but 6000$ for a body is still to expensive for me lol
Those are all very good photos. I recognize a lot of the names. I attended a Supercross event in Phoenix a few years ago with my daughter and it was amazing and loud.
I love the shots. I am a big fan of motocross. We have not got out to an event in a few years as the two time it comes to SO Cal one is my moms birthday the other is my anniversary. If I may ask what camera and lens are you using for the events?
I was Using a Canon 60D and a sigma 70-200 2.8 Iso 2500 F2.8 and speed 1/1200 to 1/2000
But i wasn't in the stands i was right on the floor :)
IS THERE ANY SUPERCROSS FANS IN HERE?! Last night i was shooting for the first time a real AMA Supercross in Toronto Canada. I was so nervous i din't sleep for 3 nights before the event. When i got to my Hotel the first person i come across was one ex MX Supercross champ Jeff Emig ( you can see him on tv on Fox 1 for the supercross events) so the day was starting good so here's some shots from my first fast review of my shots. Let me know if you want to see more cause i have over 2220 pictures from a 12 hours shooting
He is going great, has a side by side with hand controls, still rides his snowmobile. Has hand controls on his vehicle and has adapted to his wheel chair life. He keeps busy with his children which he loves. He was an amazing rider and anyone that knew him when he was racing has nothing but good to say about him. I always enjoyed watching the races on T.V. especially the X games.
I remember that one time at X Games that he was run over by an other snowmobile during a snow cross race. i was stunned to see him getting up after this. And Yeah Blair was a really good down to earth guy. i hope ill see him again one day. By the way im starting to shoot the AMA supercross events in two weeks in Toronto then New Jersey. i can't wait. You will now see me on TV lol
Very nice set Jesse! And you are nuts!:) #6 proves it.:):) How close to being under him where you? I also like the ones with the house in them. Something you don't see a snowmobile close too.:) Erv
He way flying over me completly. You need to have a good trust relationship with the rider when you shoot action like this. i know this guy for over 20 years
My son in law, Blair Morgan, raced for Ski Doo in the WSA races until his moto cross accident five years ago.. I love snowmobile shots like this. Very well done.
Seriously!! i use to race MX against him. How is he doing? He is a great guy. one of the best rider canadian rider ever !!
