Nice moody photograph, but I don't think the residents would like to be associated as being "West of London" I live north of London and certainly would not like to be described as North of London There are imaginary lines which create real divisions between London and anywhere else in England and these cannot be crossed.

The darker blue area at to top is perfectly natural, horizontally the view is into the haze but as you move upwards the haze effect reduces as the sky area becomes clearer.

A beautiful photograph, you have captured a typical English rural scene perfectly.
Hartlepool is spelt without a "Y" and comes from the old English name of Hart le Pool.
Hart is another name for a deer, so this is where the Deer came to drink.

Lovely photographs Doddy, you are right though people do get in the way sometimes. I have stood around for ages waiting for people to move, very often other photographers!

I vote for the 18-200. Also be cautious in Barcelona. It is the thieves haven of Europe.

I have been many times to Barcelona, by road, train, plane and ship and l have never had a problem with thieves. My advice to our US friends is to try not look like a US tourists, keep your voices down and not walk around festooned with cameras and large identinty hangers.

I have several BLS-50 and a couple of non-genuine equivalents they vary in age from about 5 years to almost new. I tend to use the newer ones mainly but the older ones seem to be just as good in both life and power.

My Nokia does the same but l can still view on any other photo gallery. Your photographs are still stored locally on your phone and not in Google cloud unless you have decided to so.

If you are based in the UK like me, we are not allowed to view this article, I cannot imagine what the reason could be. Error message 451.

I know Douglas very well and these are all excellent photographs.
I am interested to know how your Ferry was "cursed" perhaps that is why the ship was not allowed to dock.
Did the ship need to go to the Fairy Glen to have the spell removed?

Lovely photographs with interesting scenes, they certainly are not oversaturated.

I also struggle with this function, on my Olympus you can move the focus point anywhere using these arrows.
I will look forward to the replies as I would like to use my GX7 more often.

The mirrorless migration would probably falter if we took mirrorless commentaries out of the mainstream. Either that, or it would increase the "ostrichity" of both types of users... They'd crawl into their own caves on opposite sides of the watering hole (2001: A Space Odyssey reference).

It would be like putting all the conservatives on Fox, and all the liberals on NPR + PBS. Oh, wait... That's actually happened! See where THAT got us?

Just like Nikon and Canon users do.

Windows is a generic operating system...it needs no special hardware.
Better to decide what you want the PC for.....Predominantly, and get a spec that satisfies that.

This is an excellent piece of advice and it will save you a fortune in time and money.
