No the "horns" are harmless. They are very pretty, aren't they? Don't know if they are found anywhere other than U.S.

That's really funny....I woke up to see 2 wood ducks in a tree in my back yard. Grabbed the camera, of course, but the pics were really blurred.I had never seen that before either.
